As an administrative professional, completing at least a yearly self-assessment is critical to your growth and advancement. Whether your organization has self-assessments incorporated into performance reviews, or not; it’s up to you to take the initiative to create and present your own self-assessment to your manager. Also, do remember to use this valuable tool to not only highlight your “star moments,” but to tie your strengths back to company/cultural value as an asset to your department and the entire organization.
