    PLEASE LADIES, pros, newbies, gents, do NOT CRITIQUE MY LIGHTING, MY CAMERA POSITION, or leave nasty sorts of comments.... it’s not great community etiquette, certainly not nice.... and always says something MORE ABOUT YOU THAN ME! If I’m not enjoying a video I search for another instead of hurting someone else’s effort AND CHANNEL! NO ONE IS PERFECT .... IM TRULY SORRY IF YOU DONT LIKE ONE OF MY VIDEOS BUT YOU DO NOT HAVE TO WATCH IT! No one is forcing you or making you watch! Keep it movin siss!
    Thank you KINDLY

      If you want it to be frayed with a shabby look, but you can make a flower that’s beautifully shabby chic with just about any fabric frayed or not! I prefer it most often but not always! I’ll be doing some more tutorials very soon! Hit the bell 🔔 so you don’t miss it!

    Just found your channel. Love the flower and the fabric you used. What I would have liked after you showed all your creations would maybe make a series of how you create them. First one as you showed how you cut, glue, fray, place etc then do videos with each one you have created as to how you did them. That would be interesting. I have no vision, but when someone shows me what you could create and shows me how, I love that.

      Thank you for your feedback! I will do some more techniques I use to make my flowers! I am actually the same way, a visual learner… so some I’ve gathered ideas from here and there and others are mine that just came to me out of my creative mind, but I also like seeing things done! Sorry my reply is a little delayed! Stay tuned because I also have a bunch of destash sales coming soon! I have A LOT to sift through ☺️🌸 🌺 🌹 🌸 🌺 💐

I usually don’t make the same flower twice but I do happen to have a pleated gorgeous white lace / trim I can use for one similar! I have some of the elements put together already!

    What kind of fabric...what size and how many circles?

    • @thejarfancystudios4638
      @thejarfancystudios4638  3 роки тому +2

      Sorry it took me so long to reply to your question!
      Sometimes I eye ball it all however you can just buy precut fabrics in cotton, flannel, or any fabric that will Frey at the edges, your choice I use printed precuts either from JoAnns or Walmart has them and other craft stores have them in the precut fabric section, select what you like in a cotton or a cotton blend.
      Start by cutting about 4-6 (even numbers) of the largest circles 3-4 inches round depending on how fluffy you want your flower as long as you’ve covered the entire first overlapped layer, then gradually go down to about 4 circles on the second layer about 2-4 inches round and then you can even add a third layer about 1 inch round and use from 3-4 of them (you can certainly get away with 3 one inch circles on the last layer, and as you go just stagger the pedals how you like them each one slightly overlapped it’s pretty easy and you’ll know before you glue it down if you’re happy with the way it looks to you! No measuring necessary as long as you start with large and go smaller each layer, then add your choice of pretty centers! Bling or buttons, stamens, etc ... Make sure you Frey each pedal before gluing it down, the circles do not have to be perfect and either do 2 or 3 layers making each layer in smaller sized circles and slightly overlap then as you go! After the first one you’ll have it no problem! I find muslin fabric to be very pretty too plain white, ivory, or dyed /sprayed! 😊hope this helps!!

    How layers

    • @thejarfancystudios4638
      @thejarfancystudios4638  3 роки тому

      Hi there @Yiayia K .... I'm guessing you're asking how many layers? Or ow to layer? and to answer both I would tell you to follow along with this tutorial, and you can start at the bottom or first layer and put the biggest layer first, then smaller layers of circles on top and stager them as you go .... you can build as many layers as you like until you'r e happy with how it looks, you can also change fabric color, style and texture too! Just do it just as the tutorial starts out and you'll get the idea and create something beautiful... sorry this answer is o late... I dont always keep up with comments on youtube unless I know its a sale or destash video!

      TY for your kind feedback . It gives me the chance to explain that my camera kept slipping out of the tripod at different times throughout the video, and it took me a bit to even figure it out, but after that I just did my best to keep coaxing it back but gravity wanted to play with my tripod on this particular day... it also took a lot for me to jump into my UA-cam at all! I am a bit camera shy. Although I haven’t really uploaded anything recently.... I have plans to release MORE! AND for the tripod which is fixed!! Appreciate your feedback minus the nStyy💯✅

    You can't see what she's doing with the ribbon. Makes a lot of insecure comments as if she does not know if her sample will work out go ouf. I don't have time to listen to o her comments in bless it as for teaching.

      Wow I went to your UA-cam channel @alemandassociates you have one ☝️ subscriber! That’s great! Maybe you should do a tutorial! As an artist, designer, and crafter I need to tell you this- all of us go through a creative process on camera and upload it for the world to see! I don’t make insecure comments I go through a decision process! Every designer and crafter goes through moments when they may have to be out of frame and will apologize for it, try different ways of using pieces in their project! Until we’re happy with what we’ve created! I’m sorry you didn’t like the way I did my tutorial but you could have chose another one out of the millions of others….. instead you took your “valuable time” to not only watch mine, but took. MORE of your time to leave a negative comment! Maybe in your valuable time you have many other negative comments spreading negative comments for others that may ACTUALLY be a bit nervous making a video and cause them to loose confidence in their ability! I’m not that person but your words may discourage someone trying to do their best! We all started somewhere! Where did YOU START? I’d love to see a tutorial from you on whatever art you do! It won’t stop me from doing what I do … but I would love to see your creative process as well! Not sure bout you but my predecessors are the likes of #jennings644 #craftydevotion #msgardengrove1 and more! I’m simply doing a tutorial on my own channel to show some of the ways I make my flowers because it was requested! Make your flowers the way you like after having plenty of practice! Watch the tutorials YOU like, however I sincerely doubt you’re Devine or of the supernatural realm enough to “bless” anything EVER that’s Gods job to bless! I’m blessed already thanks! 😊
      Thankyou for the comment! I am fine with my level of ability God has given me!
