😨mine still needs surgery, I've not been recieving proper medical care. I've broke mine twice after it rolled 🤦🏻♀️. Literally just waiting for it to happen Again
@akki6hotzz that's up to you to decide man, mine healed wonky and it still hurts to this day 2 years later, but also medical care where I live is shit, if they advised surgery and you can afford it, think about it, if you can't, then it'll heal on its own, but be prepared for a little bit of discomfort
Awesome explanation....juz a small correction...at 5.46 min ,1st slide,,its supination -adduction is tyle 1 (not supination - abduction) .. For the 1st time i understand this classification Thanx alot....👍👍👍
I BROKE MY FIBULA AND MY SPORT DR DAMON WINFIELD IN COLUMBUS OHIO GAVE ME HOPES BY FOING A PRP TREATMENT TO REDUCE MY SWELING AND HEALING OF MY FEBIA BONE.IM IN MY 3RD WEEK NOW.NO STANDIND ON THAT FOOT YET.
2:07 this is what happened i dropped my 2 ton motorbike on left foot Doc said it is non surgical and plaster casted for 3 weeks Now 4 more days to go lets hope my foot performs like before
Man I hope you got some kind of help they fixed mine right away and I still ain't walking right after 6 months I'm just now starting to limp around without crutches
I had an accident 3 years ago and broke my medial malleolus as well as fibula half way, the surgeon placed two screws in medial malleolus and one scew sticking fibula with tibia.
Same! Just about 3 weeks ago. Broke medial malleolus and fibula about 4-5 inches below the knee. Also have more pain on the lateral malleolus then the actual broken medial malleolus but no break according to xray. Doctor is certain I tore up some ligaments on that side which is why it hurts even more on the non broke side. The E.R had only saw I broke my ankle but didn’t see fibula was broke. Made much more sense when I learned that because the amount of CRUNCHING I felt when it happened seemed abnormal for it all to be from a single broken medial malleolus lol. I just started being able to hobble around on it with a boot on and without crutches yesterday
i have a tiny crack on the inner edge of my talus.Taking Smart Bone suppliment (amazon uk) and Serrapeptase significantly reduced pain. But cannot really have surgery.
4:23 this is what i have Right now, unfortunately it required a surgery, so after a monthof recovery i still cants walk but i dont feel pain anymore. i have to work on bringing back extensive movement to my foot, so i can walk again
Same! Just about 3 weeks ago. I tripped in the dark and when I tried to catch my trip with other leg my foot landed on my work boot, Broke medial malleolus and fibula about 4-5 inches below the knee. Also have more pain on the lateral malleolus then the actual broken medial malleolus but no break according to xray. It’s been a week since my ankle fracture I only broke one piece and every time I stand with my crutches the pain is just almost unbearable I haven’t had surgery
@@030francoable i had surgery, my cast comes off on the 10th next month, it feels weird foot swells a bit when its down ofc im hoping they put me on a walking boot when they take my cast off i want to start walking im anxious.

1) focal hyperintensity in the cartilage 3x1mm with underlying subchondral marrow contusion/edema measuring 1.2x1.1cms in size in the lateral femoral condule - s/o low grade osteochondral injury. 2)small sized pockets of fluid collection under the LCL and FCL with diffuse increased signal intensity of LCL seen however fibre continuity is maintained - s/o grade II injury. 3)inflamatory/edematous changes with fluid signal intensity in the hoffa's fat pad. 4)focal grade I signal intensity in the anterior horn of lateral meniscus. 5)Tiny hyperintense signal(4mm) involving cartilage of medial femoral condyle. 6) Minimal joint effusion seen extending into medial and lateral recess and adjacent to anterior horn of lateral meniscus
3 days in after falling off a stair and basically ending in "super splits" right foot first, left stuck on the steps I slid. I heard pops and cracking in my foot and couldn't move from the dislocation and pain. Ended up having 911 called and thank goodness, there is no way to climb stairs in that sort of pain! Never had morphine or ketamine before then. Thankful for the paramedic that helped me with the pain. Hospital is something I barely remember. Had it reduced and splinted. Fracture to both tib and fib plus possible soft tissue injury. MLK Jr day is Monday and I am praying someone is in the surgeons clinic. I'm not digging this makeshift cast, even though I hate boots, I'd take it just to scratch the itch
I had tri mal w dislocation. Slipped on flat wet grass. Had to scream to get help. Phone was on deck! Daughter heard and responded. Called 911. Pain was bad but my broken elbow pain was worse in’83. Got fentanyl on drive in to hospital. Milk of amnesia for the setting of the ankle. Good treatment. Surgery that afternoon. Successful. Spent 1 night. Great nurses and doctors. ❤
bruh im a week into my fracture and bout to get surgery and it doesnt sound as bad as yours. its just displaced fibula very slightly. but i have zero support on the ankle you cannot walk on even this kinda fracture. i just hop with crutches and when i shower it is shamefull i use my dads old walker to even get in the shower
Watching 5:46-6:04 on repeat levels up your ankle fracture classification skills
Many thanks for excellent demonstration, but type I is supination (adduction) not (abduction)
agreed
