Watched your video to see if there was some trick I was missing with the oil filter. Tip for the drain/crosmember, FoMoTo valve. Drains straight down, little slower but not nearly the mess. Plus you're not dealing with the possibility of striping the drain bolt in an aluminum pan. Thanks for the video. Doing mine today

I like your metal skid plate. I'm not nuts about the fabric one I have on my 2018, but the truck itself has been a great work truck. Nice to look at and comfortable to drive after working all day.

Some 2018 and newer use a plastic (composite) drain plug. It is part # KX6Z6730B and you need to use a new one when you change your oil. They are available on Ebay for @$20 for 3.

    Quick tip folks....
If you take the plastic block on the driver side out of the front bumper, it is LITERALLY a straight shot to the oil filter if you have a long enough extension and a filter socket adapter doohickey they usually sell at oreilly's. And if your arm is long enough, the new filter can go right back on just as easily.

You can avoid that messy gush at the beginning when taking out the drain plug by *not* taking off the oil cap first, and doing it later in the draining process.

The 3.3L (203.8 ci) Ti-VCT V6 FFV engine holds six quarts of oil. I use and recommend Amsoil. As for filters Wix is what I use. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching

try changing the filter first (before the oil draining)...it is easier to take off the filter.

Do you recommend a oil bypass filter?

Does it need a new washer at drain plug?

Getting oil on your clothes is directly related to color of clothing, cost of clothing, and desire not to soil clothing. Also directly related to driveway surface. Expensive pavers? Guaranteed staining.

I used Castrol 5w20 100% synthetic its any diference between motorcraft synthetic blend?

A synthetic Blend has conventional oil in it too. I’m a strong believer in full synthetic.
