I've heard McIntosh electronics with Wilson speakers on many occasions, and on each occasion, I thought the combo sounded excellent. And, I'm not a Wilson or McIntosh owner.
i prefer wilson with gryphon,audio research or krell pre amp amps.

Yes. I tried Spectral. It's good but I like it better with Amplifon SET 140.
I have to DAW's but would never use McIntosh with them. Spectral and MIT go with W/A like a hand in a glove.
I agree with you. With the Macintosh, it was just a test of how they play with the DAW.
