Can't find ant better music?

I've heard the new S3 at least twice, and the GE1 recently. The TAD GE1 is indeed very fine sounding. I heard the TAD playing TakeDake, the same exact song here and it was precisely this track that startled me with its deep, fast, well articulated bass. The new Magico S3 has a creamier sound but very refined and needs to be played loud to appreciate its quality. On other speakers where high volume usually leads to compression, the Magico sings effortlessly. I'm surprised by the difference here, but i suspect those amps are not well matched to the Magico. Anyway, the TAD is significantly more expensive than the S3, and should be compared to the new S5 instead.

nice but I feel if you used a bigger gryphon you would be able to bring out more bass and masculinity/weight

I love Cardas cables. Yep, I hear an improvement with my GoldenEar BRX speakers (AMT tweeters) , Cardas Parsec RCA cable, Cardas Clear USB cable, Denafrips Pontus II 12th-1, Denafrips Iris 12th (DDC), and Parasound pream, Parasound amp, NAD C298 amp. You have to have a great system and good hearing to perceive a difference (or in my case an improvement).

This is the best sound comparison I've heard, good job! If you can, could you compare the new S3 to the older S3 mkll? Is the new Magico that much better than the previous?

TAD has more of a life sound where Magico is more subdue. I am surprised I was thinking the S3 as my last speaker but the TAD is 20k more! Is it worth it?

While YT comparisons are questionable at best, I heard the GE1 at the Audio Show in Vienna and it surprised me: it easily destroys the competition up to 80,000 EUR, maybe even higher. Amazing new speaker from TAD 😍!

Yes, UA-cam sound, a bit “splashy “ but listenable. Might be fatiguing eventually.

I greatly preferred the TAD's. The Magico's seemed darker, I guess 'veiled.' But the big thing, on vocals, the Magico's were unnaturally wide. Sara K's voice sounded like it stretched the entire way between the Magico's, instead of being located between them with the TAD's.

now, the only thing these speakers desperately need are: 1. better tweeters, open back, of course, 2. active crossover. without these, they are inferior technically, sorry

I am not sure if there is anything better than the GE1 even for multiple times the price. It is crazy good.

Thanks for sharing. Your videos will have much better sound once you start using pro level mics. This is good though for a iPhone level recording. Please post more videos of this system. What output are you using on Vivaldi Apex 2V or 6V....latter should be better as S250 MXV is relatively low gain amp. Would love to hear Sting - History Will Teach us Nothing, Bill Frisell Shenandoah (version from Good Dog Happy Man), Robbie Robertson Somewhere Down the Crazy River, Robert Plant & Alison Krauss Price of Love, Michael Hedges Aerial Boundaries or Neil Young Harvest Moon from Unplugged. No worries if not possible. Enjoy your great system.
