3 blocks from my house, Friday night pick up an order of spaghetti and meatballs, I eat Friday night and lunch Saturday easily, 12 bucks for that kind of quality is a steal.
Yes it is, but the meatballs are smaller than in America. The dish is called spaghetti alla chitarra con (le) pallottine. It's a specialty from the region of Abruzzo, east of Rome. In some parts of Italy, large meatballs are sometimes eaten together with pasta on festive occacions. However, a long time ago meat was very expensive in Italy and therefore it's safe to say spaghetti with meatballs was not an everyday dish anywhere in Italy.
@@joachimgronlund1064 I know where Abruzzo lives in Rome, pasta with meatballs in Italy is made in very few places, but above all you do not put the meatballs inside the pasta, you only use the sauce, then as a second you eat the meatballs, and all this at home, never in restaurants
It’s Pecorino Romano! Made from sheep’s milk. Locatella Pec Romano is sharper, fuller, more expensive and more robust than blander, milder run of the mill Parmesan. The cheese they’re using looks powdery because it’s machine grated. I’d go with Pecorino Romano over par any day!
this place looks legit. nothing better then fresh pasta like that.
Yeah, I'm not a big fan of pasta but this dish looks super perfected and It reminds me of grandma food, although she was german and not italian.
@@brunopropheta not a fun of pasta?!?!?

Why does non homemade spaghetti always look like Spaghetti O’s????
Yeah, I think it’s too much sauce. I live Italian but I still haven’t found better place than homemade.
If I had this Place In My City I'd Gain 100 LBS In a Month 😁 😋
Why do so many of these seem to be on the North side?
Bullet proof glass not required
Only get spaghetti with angle hair noodles.. the best
Why do you look exactly like the owner of this place. Look at you two, you look like son and father.
And then everyone is surprised, that avg. American is just a size smaller from Statue of Liberty ...

I love this show but the presenter is the worst and not to mention way to cringe!!!
spaghetti and meatball is an American dish, definitely not a traditional Italian dish!
That pasta way overcooked I like my pasta al' dente.
coz homemade pasta will never be al dente like the dry pasta .
especially homemade spaghetti which tend to overcook quickly also in the dry version
Looks like it came out of a can! No disrespect
all food placess are amazing but the dude is so boring with zero sence of humour
Noodles? Geez get off this channel.
Pasta is noodles... Marco Polo learnt from his time in China... you idiot

Italian food is not the "thing" anymore. I would go as far as to say "who cares".
What do people exactly mean when they say "fresh pasta"?
It is not fresh, it is grains which are completely dehydrated foods and have no life in them.
I think they are talking about the preparation being as close to being traditional but technically you are correct!
“The Chicagoland Area.” Kinda redundant.
Ew. She used powdered cheese. If its not hand grated, its trash.
P J cab you elaborate on the subject?
This is unwatchable, with this silly little Tinkerbell narrating the show
