@@ninocalvino no one, I was alluding to the anecdote of how the band Eagles of Death Metal got its title. The story goes like this: one of Qotsa members, I think, gives Josh Homme some Vader to listen to. Josh promptly labels Vader "The Eagles of death metal". The rest is history.

Early June 91' for me, was 17, friends folks were gone, Strong Blotter LSD, HUGE and LOUD stereo and drawing ,melting shelves of books and records, over sized plants and wood floors, rustic house in Deer Isle , Maine.... listened multiple times that night, never forget it ever!! Also, Incredible album start to finish!
Godflesh and Neurosis are the two most life changing bands in music for me, have to include Eyehategod and Buzzov-en as well.. showed me a completely new way to be intensely heavy as fuck without being Death Metal!! I did 10 strips of killer bladder acid a lot and it was mind bending as fuck, even once we( me&the homies)watched a Earache video compilation and Justin Broadrick laying on the ground and the next day he wasn't on the video AT ALL!! 😂

They reunite, release a half decent album, start releasing shit, quit and then rinse and repeat. Apart from their latest reunion, where they haven’t been release decent shit - they’ve been releasing shit.
Moral of the story is, I really don’t like Ministry and don’t get why people blow Al Jourgensen off.

Been listening to such music since the early 90s, so when Korn appeared on the scene, they did absolutely nothing that other bands had not done before -- except for that cheesy adidas image. They were just ripping off other bands. Maybe if you are younger you don't see it that way because to you, they were always there and seem equal to other bands. But when you grew up back then, it is hard to take Korn seriously. If you like them, have fun listening to them. No prob. But don't disregard other opinions.
