Kevin Rampersad i'm pretty sure it wont be your last chicken foot soup. Wait till you taste pigs feet soup you will be in love ♥♡♥♡♡. Looks so delicious.
Once I saw chicken foot in the title I had to click. That soup looks absolutely delicious and we'll seasoned. Definitely going to give this recipe a try, I usually use chicken foot when I'm doing my chicken wings and white rice special.
Exactly what I was looking for on this rainy fall nigh in New York.. a taste of home 🫶🏾 soup is bubbling I can’t wait to enjoy thanks for the inspiration
Chicken feet were one of my favourite dim sum dishes in Hong Kong. I've yet to try the Trini version - either in soup or soused; something I will remedy in June for sure! This looks sumptuous! Plenty of pepper :)
Pete Thomas I was shocked to see it when I went for dim sum. It tasted stewed with 5 spice seasoning. I think you will enjoy the texture- it is very gelatinous, and yes extra pepper is needed!
Someone suggested this video to me after we butchered some chickens. I saved the feet for bone broth and she said I should make this. But I truly can’t get over your pot! I’m trying to pay attention lol but it’s beautiful! It looks well used 🥰
My mom is jamaican half black and half indian and I grew up eating curry chicken foot in my soup or curried with rice or dumplings. West Indians love a good soup
Looks amazing!!! I've never made soup with Channa in it but oh god it looks good. Definitely gonna try it your way. Can't wait for Saturday! Thx again for sharing.
Hi reshmi did u soak d channa b4 u put it to boil wit d dhal an how long did d channa an dhal take to boil tanks reshmi cud u ansa now Cuz I want to go an make now for lunch it looks yummy
Hey, sorry for the late response. I boiled them separately. The channa takes 30 minutes to pressure cook and the dhal takes about the same time to boil. Happy cooking! Enjoy your lunch!
Looks absolutely delicious 👍👍hmm kevin waxed poetic over the wife cooking ☺☺ To avoid the banana darkening I normally boil them separately then add them with the dumplings..so you can try it
Karmini Parsan Thanks! Yeah he have rel lyrics. It was his first time tasting chicken soup. Honestly, it was completely green but while it cooked, it looked and smelled like it was ripe. After the soup was finished, it was normal though.
I'm not sure i could eat this as the chicken feet kinda resemble my tiny hands. Great recipe though. Perhaps i'll try it with beef pieces or chicken legs. Keep going. o/
As big as I am now in my home we never had soup Saturday everyone in home doesn't like soup besides me so only when I feel to eat it I make it. Wish I had soup Saturdays tho...Looks amazing tho 😍🤤
Kavitaramgobin Durgadeen Hahaha, I didn't make that for he cause I know he doesn't eat it but he was fass and hungry so he had no choice 😂 Now he loves it lol
Taste of Trini Hi, can you please get me a recipe for channa roll? It’s where you grind the channa with seasoning and stuff the mixture in a tin can and steam it in water. When it’s cooled, its then sliced and fried. Indian people would know about this recipie. I want this sooo badly
rawshop I tried researching it didn't find it. I think this is what you're talking about, but the way of preparing is different. ua-cam.com/video/tRVHIPN6vl4/v-deo.html
This recipe was amazing! You guys have to try this. The gelatinous chicken feet was mouth watering good and added a decadent richness to the broth.
Kevin Rampersad Glad you enjoyed your first chicken foot soup experience 😉
Kevin Rampersad i'm pretty sure it wont be your last chicken foot soup. Wait till you taste pigs feet soup you will be in love ♥♡♥♡♡. Looks so delicious.
I love how you don't rely on "flavor enhancers" ie maggi soup/all purpose seasoning etc. Fresh ingredients and herbs are just the best.
I did use those maggi seasonings but my husband isn't a fan. I guess it's much healthier for the body to use natural seasonings.
@@TasteofTriniI also keep away from Golden Ray butter. That is a definite no for me. Don't like the smell of that thing at all.
I'm about to make chicken foot soup and I just came across your recipe. It looks so mouth watering and delicious. I'm going to try this now. Thanks❤
You're sure right, every Saturday was soup back in the day. Another great recipe ❤❤❤❤
Once I saw chicken foot in the title I had to click. That soup looks absolutely delicious and we'll seasoned. Definitely going to give this recipe a try, I usually use chicken foot when I'm doing my chicken wings and white rice special.
