all they need to add to the montage of sound is the sound from Classic Concentration prize flip, the klaxon from Emergency! and Star trek, and the kitchen sink.
@@Dim4323Actually she use Smog as a clue to get the password Fog. One thing that Allen Ludden would do is caution everyone when someone was guessing the answer to the puzzle, play Password. That way that team won’t give away the answer to their opponents in the event they get control
It always makes me laugh whenever the contestants give away the password on this show. However, it’s especially funny when it’s the host who does it. I don’t know why Bert had a such a problem with accidentally blowing whole puzzles, it’s like a curse for him. 😂
@@marcusmontgomerys2ndlogotv226Probably because those “blown puzzles” provided a bit of comic relief for the game show. I have to come to his defense on the “Royal” category, because royal was the perfect clue for flush. If a celebrity or contestant had given “royal” as a clue would have they thrown the puzzle out? I don’t think so.
Bert blow away the clues 13 times. Overall, the host gave away the clues 19 times and if you had included Keke Palmer, it would be 20 times overall since the 1960s.
"Danny DeVito" -- If the other celebrity hadn't actually SAID it, this wouldn't qualify. Orson baited her into it, though, so for once, it actually WASN'T Bert's fault.
It probably sounded too much like Jack Benny that they had to toss that puzzle. I think Pat Sajak was a big fan of his, which is probably why he guessed that.
I don't know whether or not it's just my device, but the audio between 6:34 and 7:43 is very defective. Please let me know if you are experiencing the same problem.
Bert Convy blowing the puzzles at times is as exciting as the gameplay.
1:56 Haha Gene Rayburn's reaction 😂
26:49: You know you effed up when sound guy Geoff Cooper plays almost every sound effect, including the NBC Claxon buzzer.

There was a song released during the run of Super Password by The Smiths, "Bigmouth Strikes Again".
That seems so appropriate for Convy, doesn't it?
I've seen so far 3 times where Bert voluntarily accepted the tape from the producers when he dodged the bullet.
RIP ALLEN LUDDEN TOM KENNEDY & BERT CONVY!! & GENE RAYBURN!!
betty white is also dead now
Bert Convy would have been a good host of The Price Is Right.
Bert Convy was the Ryan Seacrest of the 80s.
8:37 That's the leftover "You fool!" since Gilbert didn't have to do that for "smog" on HS
It was Shelly who said smog

RIP to all of the people in this video who are no longer with us.
For the Colosseums!
Lol

And it's surprising & amazing that he hasn't got fired from any of these instances after all those times.

Yeah the Flush clue, He was helping them he didnt blew it.
28:22: LOL! The producers often give Bert a hard time. LOL
Yeah, and he deserves it.

Imagine at 14:58 if he said “I should just stuff it” thus immediately blowing that puzzle too😄
Yeah in Burt defence on Royal clue he was helping and didnt notice it was a clue
Orson Bean blew the puzzle!
I remembered 10:07 since the NBC airing!
4:25 UH-OH!!

The other celebrity was Markie Post, who was on "Night Court" at the time.
Also I dont think Burt blew on Jack Benny he said well, well.

Burt didnt blew it on Danny devito
@22:05 Tape doesn't work. This guy is an obsessive chatterbox.

Yeah, the audio was part of the original video.
Shelly said smog not bert.
What about keke palmer said the word prude
When did that happen?
@@GameShowsGS It happened on August 30, 2022, on Season 1 Episode 6 with Chelsea Handler & Jimmy Fallon
Oh, I didn't even know they brought back the original Password.
Does anyone know how he blew the word buffalo? The audio is so defective between 6:34 and 7:43, that I couldn't determine what was said.
