"If you stick around you can have a chance to pet the knights and meet the horses- uh... yeah we'll stick with that."
I love this announcer.
This is better than modern sports.
Honestly
this event is like a bad copy of the real one, notice how short of a distance and low speed here, this was more like exhibition type of thing.
Haha you are completely wrong
Forget football I wanna see my jousting league
Watch "A Knight's Tale" (Heath Ledger RIP) to see how it could / should really be.
@@hughmellerick4417 I’ve seen it. It’s a very good movie. I’m a big nerd though and the armors and stuff are all inaccurate but it’s done for Hollywood and it’s not advertising itself as historically accurate so it’s entirely forgivable.
@@robertcurry389 I just tried to watch that movie earlier and I got absolutely scrongnobbled as a super nerd I had to unleash my nerd rage by watching some real jousting
the announcer seems like a very cool guy to hang out with
Hits target
Snaps lance
Knocks opponent off.
16 points 😂
Ñ
William The Conquerer has returned...I love this, my new N.F.L.
He is a very good showman.
A medievil past time from a period in history when men where men & sheep where nervous.
I dont miss it.
Sheep are still nervous in Whales
the pigs were also nervous at the time, to the point that they regularly ended up in court for the disturbances to public order that they committed while wandering freely in the cities.
I was expecting "Are you not entertained?!"
Watch "A Knight's Tale" (Heath Ledge RIP).
Why did we ever even invent sports when we had jousting??? I don't understand why this isn't more popular...
I don’t understand why buhurt isn’t more popular
Sir William is Overpowered, he needs a nerf
😂 Lol. No he overpowers.
Lol holy shit that has to hurt falling off
it does but you don't notice till later lol
As a french Canadian that i am, You got me at "poutine" bro 🤘
I'm loving this medieval- inspired sport, also love the announcer. :)
Oh man you should watch "A Knight's Tale" so, which I fear was much closer to the real thing in those days.
The opponents are obviously treading carefully here so as not to inflict injury, any injury...
Kinda makes you respect boxers, MMAs, and wrestlers too who by comparison receive dreadful punishment for their bread.
Not really and the knights tale is not historically accurate and this isn’t completely representative of modern jousting so you should look up the knights of valour to see some real jousting
Also I think you are not considering how difficult jousting really is
Great stuf. ❤️ 🏴
Thanks for the upload. It’s been exciting to watch!
A bit sad that sir William didn’t just present himself for the strike & throw a mercy pass given he has already won even before the pass - 20:2 - (unhorsing & couple of Ferrule Strike)
Would have had been more Chivalrous if he had done so. 🤷🏻♂️
Why do you think the sport had about 2, 3 rounds?! Extremely brutal
Lets joust !!! So few people know the word and doesnt even have any translation / omologue in other languages....Tradutore traditore!!!
In real life in middle ages they hit those exact points so not to severely injure their opponent. That showed at the time what chivalrious gentleman they are!
tolles video ! Danke dir!
This is crazy.
And deserve more views.
hi I just Subscribed but I have a question the run way is supposed to be 2 Football fields why so short they supposed to run 50 mph down the run way. they are holding the stick wrong over there heads or under there armpit
Great video!
*Let the tournament begin!*

Wow, very amazing sport
Those horses are going to slow
3 da madrugada o que eu tô fazendo aqui???
Jousting lite
1:10, what the bloody hell? Knights wear armour in jousts to avoid dying, and these bloody fools remake it to C A T C H the lance ensuring more damage. This is mad!(Fun to watch though)
Happiness
We are still progressing. Alan IJA. See Callum NZ
Wow there's a woman doing that. What's she like.🤔 Apparently not a mach for Sir William though. But that's crazy no woman I know would do that. Come to think of it Maby no man ether.
El caballo se alista para el día de la batalla; Mas YAHWEH es el que da la victoria. Proverbios 21:31 🔥🕎🔥
Woah incredible, horses that are trotting at best
12:45
this announcer is amazing... anyone know his name?
Jarl Balgruuf.
Trump is the speaker
This isn't real, I've seen the movie A Knights Tale. That's real Jousting. 🤣🤣🤣 J/K
It is much beter to watch this without sound.
صوت المعلق كانه صوت ترامب
Is that Donald trump on the mic?
You here for 8:00
My man.
Is anyone concerned for the horses?
Not unless a Lance goes through them
@@thomasjohnson2038 you are DQ if you hit the horses
@@macdavis6925 it still happens DQ or not
yeah dude, why aren't the horses in plate armour? Not only this was how renaissance jousting was done but they could be way more agessive than whatever fake bullshit happens in this video
The horse can never and will never be hit by a lance, this is late, but the lance will always have to point their target, anything else and it’s considered foul.
They should lose a point for dropping their lance.
al videos they drop it so they can rebalance after the hit, otherwise it would also be unfair if someone has to try hold his unbroken lance when their opponent has a broken one
They’re supposed to drop the lance so they can grab the reins and stop their horse at the end of the list. They are required to drop their reins before impact, otherwise the sudden pullback would actually injure the horse’s mouth/face.
Wtf is this bullshit math they are doing in every single one of these videos about the force?!
its simple physics. albeit the formula should've been momentum not force because "ideally" there are no acceleration during the contact, only a constant velocity.
You said pou(tin), and just for that, I am disliking this video.
Sorry.
