It is true about Billboard taking down the digital sales ...they did it when he released "The Machine" because He and Ben broke the charts doing "Facts". They tried releasing 5 different versions of the same song, by the same artist to take away any chance of Tom getting to #1. It took 4 artists, same song, being released in different versions, and they still couldn't stop Tom....so they had to wipe out the digital sales...effectively keeping Tom off the chart; therefore, they admitted Tom defeated them. LOL...fools that they are. If independent artists would sue Billboard under "Annti-trust" law, and if they should win, BIllboard would have to give independents the same respect and be given the same consideration as contracted main stream artists. But I don't see any independents taking it to the courts.

I think probably my favorite moment of the song that resonated with me the most was the line "shut up". I make videos and my channel jumped from 51 subscribers to 21,000 in 3 days a few years ago. When that happened then I suddenly started receiving comments and emails telling me how I should be making my videos and changing my content to try to make my videos more like other popular content creators. "Shut up" was pretty much the reaction I had at the time to people telling me I needed to make my videos the way they wanted me to make them.

Sir, I absolutely LOVE your reactions! I have been going through SOME of the similar stuff that Tom is rapping about. Not going into details, 2023 was THE worst year of my life and 2024 isn’t going much better. Lost my wife, house, car and job last year. This year I lost one of the people who helped raise me. Now I’m with my parents sleeping on a mattress on the floor.
Been wanting to off myself cuz of drugs, not alcohol so much but I do drink. I just don’t have to and go long periods without a sip with no problems. Just got off oxy, getting off of rock but still so close to just giving up.
My kids are the ONLY reason I haven’t yet.
UA-cam reactors and people like Tom have helped me stay half sane. Love you guys…..
