The first two times I tried watching this, I fell asleep less than a quarter of the way through. That speaks pretty highly of this, since I usually take way longer. I've now listened to it entirely and just want to say phenomenal job as usual. I can't speak for everyone but I find your voice and pacing just perfectly calming and soothing, keep up the great work :)

Dalton has realized that people get ASMR and its sleep-related benefits from slow and intentional sounds, thank you for making quality content even if it’s not what the UA-cam Algorithm rewards. Sensationalist and overstimulating content will never be ASMR and it’s nice to have creators who can block out that noise/temptation.
Have you considered other people get tingles from different things than you, and that’s, like, okay? I do not get the superiority complex some asmr listeners have over random sounds someone is making in a quiet room.

That was a very cool start. 😎 I like the finger snapping and the lights going out from one second to the next. Another nice alternative would perhaps be to let the lights go out very gradually by blowing it out alternately left and right. Incidentally, this suggestion comes from my two spoiled ears. I should pass on their tingly greetings to you. They're already very excited. 😉
I've just seen that you've updated the *chapter headings* and I thought the original headings were pretty good. They gave absolutely nothing away, except that the tingles wouldn't stop at any point, and otherwise left me completely in the dark. So a video full of surprises, just the way I like it. Yes well, the current headlines are of course not bad for orientation in all this darkness either, lol
Even the *beginning* is great again. 👍 I can totally feel you walking around me. The footsteps on the floor, the warm breath on my ears, the delayed slow speech, ... all together so tingly. 😍 Very good!
4:39 -> I'm going crazy!!! This cracking sound is wow, when it suddenly starts unexpectedly in one ear. I even get a slight fright. And I think about what it could be... could it be the familiar foil again... the crackling fire? However, empty nutshells or small seashells also sound similar when they are rubbed together. And the sudden switch to tapping on the wood blocks is also quite surprising.
I think that's the tapping on the cardboard at 11:36, right? I find that very tingly and I don't often get tingles from tapping, but here you've definitely done it again. It feels good and very relaxing. 😌
Or is that the crackling foil at 14:49? I'm slightly confused, everything sounds so great... 😄
And the sudden two different crackling sounds on the left and right at 15:45 overwhelm me, but my spoiled ears love it!!! 😉 These crackling sounds are so beautiful and very tingly. And they make me really curious. I want to see what's crackling, lol!
And oooh, I melt away at 19:45!!! That sounds so nice and is so pleasant. Rubbing wood together is incredibly relaxing and makes me totally tired. 🥱
By the way, I think that guessing different (preferably still unknown) sounds would also be an interesting idea. 💡 So as acoustic-practical riddles instead of linguistic-theoretical ones that rack my brain, lol. Although they're great too, of course, and I wouldn't want to miss them.
And again *ASMR math* at this time of night (my bedtime) and in my extremely tired state and I even calculated correctly right away, even in my head and without having to use my digital abacus, lol.
But okay, if you have to torture me with math like this, then I'll give you some math riddles, the popular text problems. Have fun! And don't cheat, lol!!! And since I didn't come up with them myself, please don't complain to me! Solutions as always at the end of the comment. 😜

I found these next *"Would you rather... or..." questions* really nice and something to think about. And some of them weren't so easy to answer, haha!

-> Hmm, I think I'd rather be somewhere 20 minutes earlier. Being rushed is not pleasant and besides, you shouldn't keep anyone waiting unnecessarily...
30:50 - Be able to fly or be invisible?
-> Definitely be able to be invisible, as I suffer a bit from a fear of heights.
31:15 - Always have a mild summer or all four seasons?
-> All four seasons (I already have them), because each one has something beautiful about it.
31:39 - Speak all languages fluently or be able to talk to animals?
-> Definitely last one, who wouldn't want to talk to animals?
32:26 - Power to teleport anywhere instantly or able to read minds?
-> That's a bit more difficult to answer. Mind reading sounds great... but do I actually want to read everyone's mind? My brain would probably be overwhelmed, lol, especially if there were too many people at once. I'd rather take teleporting, I think, haha.
I also found the *quotes* very interesting again. The one I like best and already knew is by Charlie Chaplin: "A day without laughter is a day wasted", a really wonderful quote with such a positive message. Because without fun, humor and, above all, laughter, life would only be half as beautiful, as they say.
Oh yes, finally some *riddles* again! 😁 I won't be able to fall asleep tonight without them. 🙃
42:27 - I have keys but I open no locks, I have space but no rooms, you can enter but you can’t go outside. What am I?
-> Okay, that's what I'm typing on right now, haha.

-> I'm too tired to think today, but yes footsteps sounds pretty plausible... Now I wonder though, if I were to walk backwards now, would I leave the footsteps in front of me? I'm confused, I have to go to bed, lol! And I just realized in retrospect how loudly you stomp your feet. I should listen more to acoustic noises. 😉
45:18 - I can be cracked, made or told. What am I?
-> Idk, but from this point at 45:50 I have to stifle a scream and can no longer think clearly! You just scared my last rational thoughts out of my brain and drove them away. However, I am now more awake again. 😅 And with your solution, I just think you're joking with me... you're really driving me crazy at this late hour!!! 😜
46:05 - I can be long or short, I can be grown or bought, I can be painted or left there, I can be round or square. What am I?
-> Hmm... flowers, trees, fruits, vegetables? But somehow the square one bothers me... Okay solution please! - A nail? Oh, you mean a fingernail? I shouldn't think like a handyman using hammer and nails, but like someone who makes their fingernails pretty, lol.
47:00 - What has a head, has a tail, is brown, but has no legs?
-> Okay, I'm out of here, lol! Solution please! - A penny? I need to do some research... This is actually another language thing. In Germany, when we flip a coin, we ask "Kopf oder Zahl?". Literally translated, it would be "head or number?". On one side there is always a number and on the other side there are always some heads of famous people or well-known buildings or other symbols. That's why we have this phrase. When I hear the English "heads or tails?", the first thing I think of is the head and tail of an animal. That's really confusing. And I wouldn't have thought of the penny as brown either, more of a copper color. But it's true, our 1-cent piece even looks that color. I'd never thought about it before.
Fun fact: As I was born in the former GDR, this is actually the third currency in my life: 1. the "East German Mark" or simply "Mark" or "M" in the GDR, 2. after German reunification the "German Mark" or "DM" and 3. now for more than half of my life the "Euro". That's really crazy!
Okay, now you can continue with your own *fun facts* , which I also found very interesting. And the last few minutes were totally tingly again, especially at this point 52:44 - Ice cold shivers!!! 😍
53:53 - And because laughing is so much fun, I laugh at myself a little, 😂🤣 because I'm reading *"Rainfall Version"* in my rather tired state and because I can't think clearly today, I say it in my mind with a German pronunciation and then just have a question mark in my head. Okay, I'll try to explain it clearly: In German, there are the diphthongs "ai" and "ei". Both are pronounced the same, namely like an English "i" [/aɪ/]. To come back to above, I could also write "Reinfall Version" and "Reinfall" is a German word and simply means "flop". Something has totally fallen into the water or flops, a failure so to speak. Pretty funny, but that's typically me again, lol. 😂
But the *4th part of this great series* is not a flop at all. I had a lot of fun again with all the riddles. And despite all the thinking, it was again exciting and very relaxing and incredibly tingly at the same time. Thank you so much, Dalton! 🤗❤ Perfect work! Well, I think I got all of those math questions wrong. I wouldn't taunt people with math questions if I thought they were easy!
I definitely thought you would have said all the languages since you could cheat and not have to work on English or anything else anymore but I guess animals are hard to pass up haha.
Glad it isn't a 'flop' haha, I did like the chapter headings too but this video was getting oddly low traction so i figured I need to optimize it as best I can.
