I alway like to read YT comments... and I get surprised by so many good comments about this band and their music. Not only instrumentally, but also lyrically speaking. They are one of the best I know indeed. But what really puts them on another level is the theology behind their music. The lyrics are so biblecentric, so true to the Word. And by being so, they go straight into your core and move you in ways that gospel songs nowadays could NEVER do!
I'd like to challenge that idea for just a bit. I believe that many have. KK are an amazing band that they are not only gifted in audible quality but the message as well. I think their delivery is what makes them stand out. Many Christian bands have indeed placed Jesus in their songs but, in my opinion, the lyrics never ran with the volume, intensity, or passion as this band does. And when it does, it, to me, come across of light and lofty and somehow...'Christian' as possibly cliche as that may sound. Its saddening because our content seems to be very much sanitized to the point that it even 'sounds' ideal rather than gracious. I don't mean to say that the previous bands that have this feel of 'over-cleanliness' or simplicity to the things of delivery aren't warranted. I think there there's a place for all of this in the Kingdom of God. However, I, at times, hear the wrestle between good and profound lyricism to great & profound delivery of instrumentation. Its definitely a hard balance and I won't even dare to say that while the deliveries of some bands sound 'sanitized' to me, that doesn't mean that the Spirit of God isn't there nor that the work isn't there either. Its just different for different people in a different walk of life, for a different purpose that I am not necessarily inclined to hear or listen to. I got this from Joe Solomon; fka ChaseGodtv, and his 'Dealing with Depression and Doubts' and the K.K. band blew me away. I had to find more. SO I did. In addition to a few other things on his playlist like Amber Days; which is awesome. But yeah. I definitely do see what you're saying. However, I don't think that because K.K. are great and talented persons with their performances, that other bands are lackluster in their presentation. They just shine in other ways that may not move you as much as K.K. does. I hope that this message rings well with you, good sibling in Christ. God bless! :)
This is literally the bridge between your average church-goer and those running hard after Jesus. This album helped wake me up from the stagnant stupor of sitting in the pew. Potlucks and Wednesday men's group. I found that after a taste, there is a whole lot more of God's goodness. He is vibrantly good, fully delicious and wildly better than we know! God gives us gifts! He assigns us things to do. Blesses us with knowledge and grace. Allows us to partake in the story of another person's faith walk. There is always more to God and He always has more for us. Music can bring such freedom and the Lord has used this band of musicians to change and guide my life for the better.

I've watched this video a dozen times and for some reason it made me think of the band, Snarky Puppy, who is also an awesome instrumental jazz fusion group.
The drum duo is beautiful along with the lyrics. It's amazing how God uses his people as instruments to bless each other. It all belongs to the glory off God.

Kings Kaleidoscope, I live in Seattle and teach at a classical Christian school that has a lot of "MH Refugees" at it. Even though so many of them were deeply hurt by what happened there, they all remember you guys fondly. Because of them, I now have a new favorite band - and y'all are from Seattle!
