My dad already invested 95% of the money I have, cause i'm only 13 so whem i'm 18 I can invest myself instead of my dad doing it. Better than saving in the bank and get 1% of the money while they get 10-30%. The sad thing is that if all the kids just used a little bit of their allowance to invest then the money will grow by itself, and everybody can do this but then people haven't learned about it.

One day Rockefeller (father) remembered that he had to buy a gift for someone with whom he has going to meet. So he went into a jeweler's shop. He took a watch and asked an employee how much it cost. 3500 said the employee. Rockefeller said "Oh boy! and how much is this one" - pointing to another watch - 5000 said the guy. So he took another watch and asked for its price. The employee said, "that cost 8000". Suddenly the employee looks at him and says "Sir, your son always comes here and never asks for the price". So Rockefeller said "Well, he has a banker father, I don't".

When they retired they didn't owe anyone a dime and still don't. And, it just sucks because he was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease two years ago and now the two of them will live the rest of their lives not able to enjoy what they saved and worked so smart for (I hope that makes sense). Thank you for all of your knowledge. I plan on implementing your strategies (and my dad's) for my family and me. xo

What is your point about balancing life with entertainment ? What much do you allow yourself to get entertained ? sometimes, I feel guilty to chill but also I know I'm not a robot to work 12hrs a day constantly.

Hello Dan, I just changed my career, I am currently doing what I thought I can never do(it’s been a month) and thanks to you I’ve closed two deals ( small ones) but I now know I’ve got what it takes, learning and building myself up, as I’ve given up complaining a long time ago, I don’t care if you read this comment or not, I’ve said what I came here to say

i'm a 17 year old senior in high school. i've got absolutely nothing in savings and blowing every paycheck because i don't do a single thing i should be doing. i don't pay myself first, i'm not investing, i'm looking for ways to make more money, but not striving to make it happen. it's things like this that help me fix every little habit and get a little better. i work retail and i have a little side business of customizing sneakers. i know it's somewhat of a start, but i'm looking to improve. it's things like this that help me realize things. i honestly appreciate it. i get that it wasn't meant for me specifically, but it helps.

Dan, I appreciate your videos! I don't know how I ended here but I needed to hear this.
I am from a middle class background and yes sometimes we do struggle and have to make compromises to be able to splurge a little . I know I can change my future. I believe in myself. 10years down the line, I see myself running companies that produce abundance of profits and investments. I see myself in a better place where I don't have to beg to be able to have certain things that I want and I really owe myself this much. This is my vision. And I'm going to work hard everyday to be able to change my future!!! You encourage me.

Nisha, I really admire you for having this vision. I see where you are coming from. Coming from a middle class background is not your fault, but never stop believing in yourself and your vision. If you are serious about running abundant companies, I encourage you to hear Dan's advice here:

Lots of gold in this video. One criticism: The quote at the end itself was good, but the way it looks on the screen looks cheaply produced. C'mon Dan... the Boss in the Bentley deserves better than that!
