The thing is, all the top tier and most skilled female lyricists and artists aren't in the mainstream, mostly because they don't really make that specific subgenre of music or really care to make that type of music, and the more intellectual/lyrical subgenres really only cater to a very specific niche of people. Judging female rappers by what's in the mainstream is kind of silly, because those only represent a fraction of a fraction of the female artists present. Complaining about mid female rappers, or mid rappers in general, is kind of pointless because those artists aren't really trying to be the most skilled or top tier lyrically/musically. They're just trying to make fun music that they enjoy. Instead of complaining about a subgenre they don't like, the video creator could have used that time more productively and positively to spread the word on upcoming and/or underground artists that are in that top tier skill category like Rhapsody, Little Simz, Snow that Product, SaRoc, Beanz, Lady Lushur, London B etc. There's thousands of incredible female artists out right now.
