Thank you for being so fair in this. I love Nicki and I really mess with Latto's music, but this entire ordeal was just MESSY and STUPID. Here’s my hot take on the whole Nicki & Latto mess. This is one of the most unnecessary beefs to happen, all because of Grammy Submissions not even Nominations! I don’t get why some people are so invested into the Grammys because they are known for screwing artists over. This got blown out of proportion from both sides and this is something that could’ve been prevented happening publicly if Super Freaky Girl was kept in the Rap categories. This is a also not the first time an artist got moved to a different genre, most notably Kacey Musgraves had this happened to her not one but two times for her albums Golden Hour & star-crossed, they moved her albums for Country to Pop. Sure Kacey was upset but she didn’t complained the way Nicki did and Kacey didn’t mentioned any other artists/songs to prove her point. In results she ended up getting a few country nominations and even won AOTY at the 2019 Grammys. However back to Nicki, I do see why she might be upset because Grammys to favor these other people but she & Latto took it to far. I agreed with the points mentioned by you.
