  • Have you lifted your Jeep and noticed that the ride and drive have not quite been the same?
Let's understand how Geometry Correction Brackets will result in a better ride and drive quality. If we can understand how lifting a Jeep will change the geometry of the front suspension in a Jeep or even cause death wobble it is easy to see how Geometry Correction Brackets will correct all the changes made from lifting the Jeep. Geometry Correction Brackets are not the only way to achieve this but they are a nice budget friendly solution that are very easy to install.
You will loose ground clearance at the control arm but the break over angle of the Jeep JK or JL Wrangler is such that chances of getting hung up on the brackets is very slim. Thanks for watching.

Thanks for another great vid. I liked and subscribed. My question is, where do I find the correct caster angle for my 1996 XJ with the HP Dana 30? Thanks in advance.

My Jeep is torn apart as we speak. I can't get the upper control arm bolt to line up because the axle moved. Tried ratchet straps already.

questions, if we lift a jeep is because we want more clearance from the ground, but I realize that the factory brackets are very high and it's hard 5o hot with a rock or something. if I put in those news brackets my control arms will goes down , so my control arms have a chance to hit something?

So you're saying that I don't need a jack or jack stand to install the geometry bracket?

I have the same brackets and same track bar. And 2” Rancho springs. I still have some wobble!! Any ideas?

Did you ever figure it out?
Curious to see what fixed it, if so.

Surprised you didn’t talk about the correlation between axle side upper and lower mount locations in relation to tire size.. I know that’s likely above most people’s understanding but that is a critical factor in control arm locating.

Hi, in your opinion would this part lead to a greater, lessor or equal possibility of a death wobble?

    • @dr.deathwobble4899
      @dr.deathwobble4899  5 років тому +2

Lesser possibility because it is correcting conditions that can cause death wobble.

So, stupid question. Would a drop bracket take the place of an adjustable control arm? Non-mechanic brain is telling me the adjustable control arm would just take care of the caster angle, whereas the drop bracket would correct the angle AND keep the control arms parallel to the ground.

Great for mall crawlers but off road, your links are taking a beating. Low hanging fruit suffers most

useless lift. straight for mall crawlers. you have a lift but add almost 0 clearance and absolutely no flex.

Were you not held enough as a child? Chassis height above ground means nothing if the lowest part of your axle is still in the same place. The purpose of increasing the axle to chassis distance is to fit larger tires which are the only way to increase true ground clearence. Side note, not everyone wants to drive a heim jointed 42" tired rock buggy to work every day, RTI means nothing in traffic.

@@mistermonkey5842 LMAO wow you're 1 fuckin idiot. Chasis clearance means nothing? Go watch a rock crawling video and come tell me that again with a straight face you fucking goof. Tell me again how chasis clearance means nothing when those trucks on 40s barely clearing boulders with a REAL lift. If what you said was remotely true, they'd high center themselves on almost every rock. Maybe take a fucking physics class or something

@@mistermonkey5842 Is there any reason you have to be a dick right off the bat? I was thinking the same thing Val said, this will reduce the clearance of the area between the wheels. What you said is true for clearance at the axle (larger tires) but once you roll over a rock these things hanging down will have reduced the clearance some at the point they're mounted, which may be a problem on the trails. But this is a good solution for those who won't be going over anything big, and mostly driving to the mall.
