Liam I have been a golf mate for the last 4-5 years and the way the channel has matured is something you should be proud of…. It’s lads playing golf not the PGA!! For one have put several courses on my list directly because of you and this channel. Hi, Just watched the video. I want to point out a few things, first I’m from near Dunfanaghy , I live in between falcaragh and dunfanaghy , 2nd is my granda is called Bernard hanlon, and there is a bench at the golf course in memory of him, he used to play with golf world champions. 👍
Dear Liam, so sorry to hear all that silly fuss and that this has upset you. Well I would like to thank you personally for the videos you make, they are excellent fun and an enjoyment to those of us who will never to get to play some of these courses.

Your big take away should be how much we all live and appreciate your videos and the time and effort you put into it, which most don't understand the behind the scenes efforts takes a tremendous amount of time. I have just come out of the hospital after quite a long stay, and I have to say watching your channel really helped me get through it went all the way back to the first one,

I’ve been watching for years and know you show all the good shots and the bad ones as what that makes it so fun and entertaining. Ignore the sad people, you bring a lot of fun and enjoyment to the majority of golfers of varying abilities. Its my staple indulgence and I always look forward to each video. The characters, chat and good/bad shots make for real golf and great entertainment !
Stumbled upon your channel last year about this time. Have watched all your videos since and gone through many on the back catalogue. The fun, camaraderie, and passion you show for this channel is infectious. Because of this channel I started golfing again and was comfortable enough with my game to come out to the roll up day in RAK in February. Just keep doing what you are doing - all of you.

I’ve been a golfmate for years and feel like I’ve been a part of your journey Liam. I don’t know you but If I met you I recon we could become good mates BECAUSE you are 100% genuine and the joy you have given with the GOLFMATES videos is second to none. And the people that have accused you of 'cheating' obviously have no clue about why we love these videos, we love them because as you say , Liam, it is 'Real golf'!! You show us everything, warts and all. You normally crack up laughing at the miss-hits etc, which is another reason why we love it!!
I will admit when I watched it I thought the ball had landed on the beach but Liams drive looked a little more right and made it well over so I assumed with roy/stu being the big hitter he must of been safe. Sometimes it’s best to ignore the haters and carry on making great videos! The hidden gems are the best golf content on UA-cam👌
I thot the same and if some sad people don't think this is warts and all golf then they haven't been watching the guys very long.

Can remember thinking stu’s would be shorter as had a more of a slice on it. Didn’t really notice much else.
This is the most entertaining golf channel on UA-cam, whomever got bent out of shape over that 3 second part of the video should reassess their priorities in life. It all looked on the up and up to me. More telling is there was no issue taken between the three competitors. Keep up the good work don't let the nonsense get you Liam.
Liam, you and the rest of the golf mates do a wonderful job of entertaining us through the great game of golf. I am 100% sure that nothing wrong occurred after viewing the video more closely. If Stu's ball had gone in the ocean, I know that you and your team would have upheld the integrity of the game and Stu would have taken the proper penalty. Please keep the videos coming. Those of us across the pond love seeing the beautiful and often historic courses in the United Kingdom and Europe.

That looks like a butterfly or a feather. I think you and your videos are awesome. Ignore the negative folks and keep providing the videos. I highly doubt the vast majority of the golfing community knows all the rules as there are many. Unless you're in an event, just play and enjoy the time outdoors with your mates.
Don't let the haters detract from what you're doing Liam. The channel is fantastic, the love between you and every single one of the golf mates is fantastic and being able to 'visit' some of theses awesome places by watching your videos is genuinely a release from day to day life when things are tough or it's just a bad day. Do not let them get to you, the true golf mates are out here and behind you.

Agree Liam about the greens. Did a golf mates trip to Donegal & based in Dunfanaghy & played Strand Hill on the way up from Dublin, Portsalon, St Patrick’s & Murvagh on the way home. We played Dunfanaghy as a wild card because we were staying there & everyone was blown away by it. To this day I’d say best green I’ve played on.

I've been watching your channel since the start and you guys never cheat, I wouldn't listen to a few negative comments, yous do a great job of filming, showing off the region to its best, actually should get paid for the work yous do, plus the craic is great, wouldn't miss your video's as they're the best on UA-cam.

Because of you and what you have shown/played on the hidden gems my mates and I did a tour of Scotland. We played Wick, Tain & Hopeman and now looks like we will be visiting Ireland or Slovakia. Keep up the great work.
