Can u please stop calling yourself by your first name and then on another occasion saying your surname? I can't keep up and don't know if ken and Mr Barlow are the same person. I realise this sounds stupid but for people 'dipping' in to your videos they won't know who is who either
This serious has been sheer joy. Nice banter, no edge - you all seem so relaxed together. The course looks exceptional in all ways. This video is an excellent advert for golf and an excellent advert for Ireland.
my mother and her family grew up just down the road. My uncle used to work for Lord Headfort, played it a couple of years ago, stunning courses. Fishing leaping in the blackwater river etc
In Ireland there has been a National Handicap Database for more than 20 years and everyone has a card which tells their handicap. Because of this anyone can play any course and most golf clubs have an Open Competition at least once a month. When I visit I look on-line for 'Ireland Golf Opens'. On any day I will find at least 20 Opens within 30 or so miles of where I am in the country. I book on-line, looking for a space with people already booked I play with people who know almost always know the course It counts towards my handicap, I got a one shot cut on one holiday. It costs between €20 and €50, the top end being places like the K Club. Headfort costs €35 for an Open. I highly recommend this if you are thinking of visiting Ireland.
Great clip again. Always great to see Mr B sink a long one. And Stu is a natural. His walk'n'talk at 35:50 was almost like he was casually talking to himself.
Utterly stunning golf course.. What a fantastic job you guys get to do.. It must be like going on holiday every day with you`re mate and sending a video postcard home to us?
Right from the introduction you could see Barlow was bursting to say “ I don’t make the indexes “ but for once he didn’t. Saved it till later. I wonder how many cards he puts in. 5 shots in 7 holes is too many.
As always brilliant video. Just back from a weekend away with my golf mates & like you guys we love it when our mates play good shots but love the bad shots even more. Brilliant crack 👍
Great little series lads and great to see some of the courses I've played up on UA-cam. Enjoy the rest of yer trip......im guessing next is Lough Erne GC......a big beast!
Big Roy Chubby Stu Brown was one of my favourites from the early days. Glad to see him back. I'd love more of him on the channel. Loving all the overseas content at the moment. Great content Liam.
Well done lads, you really are showcasing Ireland! Absolutely loving the videos so far. Can’t wait to see what else is in store - especially dunfanaghy!
Liam, I will never tire of these “Hidden Gems” videos. You present some fine videography and it’s a nice little distraction to spend some time with you and some golf mates. Heck, I even enjoy Mr. B! I’ll have to bring my clubs the next time we hop across the Pond and track you down for a round with E-bay Pete.
I used to stay in a pub in Slane when I worked in Ireland when bands played at the castle you couldn’t get anywhere near the place hoardings put up all around the perimeter
I’m off to Spain on Wednesday to play golf with my mates and watching this is exciting me for that trip. Great video and a lovely course. Well done lads 👏🏻👏🏻
You looked like you enjoyed that lads, nice course, but when you've finished you know you've played it, nice clubhouse with sound staff, well worth a visit,
Another excellent video boys, great course and the good golf continues. Looking forward to Slovakia on Weds and the next Irish gem. Living the dream boys!
Looks like you found your dream course there. Everyone has been playing well, good banter, would like to see more holes where Stu gets a shot or no one getting a shot Mr Barlow plays like he's a single handicap, keep it up Liam the best I've seen you play
Well done Golf Mates on a great video! And well done on those drives down the 12th! As a member of Headfort for 25 years and having played many of the greats in Ireland, Headfort is up with the best of them...❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Played the 2 Headforts last year on one of the brothers 50th, 2 class tracks, first 6 holes on the championship course leave the driver in the bag.😮 Brilliant series yet again lads, well done, maybe next course pick 5 holes where Mr Barlow doesn't get a shot 😂 All 3 with a birdie now hopefully we'll see some more 🐦 in the next episode 👍
Probably in the top ten Parkland courses in Ireland. Would love to see what you’d think of my course Rathcore, it too is a hidden hidden gem. Also has Moyvalley next door & the beautiful 2 at Carton House down the road.
Love it. What's name of that tune again Joe? What a wonderful course and series. You must see from the comments how much of a buzz this hidden gems gives us all. Pure joy ❤
Top class course, hats off to the green staff who keep it immaculate, travel to play it every year,, as Roy said, wouldn't get sick of it every week.. The old course is nice too but championship is just another level👌👌
Absolutely brilliant, boys. Mr.B continues to improve!! When are the Golf Mates coming to Australia? You'd be spoiled for choice with golf courses here. Also, there'd be legions of Barlow's Army waiting at the airport for their commander!!
hope you can share this series golfmates

Great clip again. Always great to see Mr B sink a long one.
And Stu is a natural. His walk'n'talk at 35:50 was almost like he was casually talking to himself.
The old course has the most amazing clay greens. You can see breaks but the lines are mainly straight. Great to see you there!
