Also keep in mind that the Fed increased the “Tax Credit” at the end of 2022 from 22% to 30%, and the 30% tax credit of 30% is now in play for solar installed in any of the next 10 years.
(Mike and Dick did the
Solar System on my ‘22 GD 380 Solitude in July ‘22. Excellent job .. Very Happy! )
Thank you Louie!
Great update! Folks, Mike and Dick did an outstanding job on our Airstream. Highly recommend the Dry Campers. If we upgrade our rig, we will be calling them again to install solar. Safe travels!
Thank you for the kind words. We appreciate it.
Love watching your videos and learning. Keep it up, and keep your head up.
I appreciate that!

I am liking the financing option idea.
I’m glad to hear! We are excited.
Glad to hear that you're still "kicking"!
Good luck with everything and it's really nice to see your videos again!
Thank you!
Hi Mike! Really appreciate your update today. Love your work. Still hoping to get into the Rv life and have you install for us once we are retired. Getting closer!
Thank you! I’ll be here when your ready.
Hello Mike! Great to see you out there still excelling and helping folks achieve their off grid dreams!!
I am loving our installation that you did for us in January 2022 down in South Padre Island (boy...we did not like it there!). There is always something to learn with the system; but I LOVE IT!!! In the summer (assuming it is sunny), we are recharged by 10am. In the winter, it is more like noon to 2pm-ish; especially since I'm probably running the 12v fresh water heat pad (for some reason, Outdoors RV did not route a propane heater duct to the fresh water tank) thru the night.
I try to do monthly boondocking trips; even through the Colorado winter. Usually when I return to the rig (it is parked at a state park that has a storage lot), after having the whole system turned off for about a month, the 500amp hour system is at about 13.2 or 13.3 volts; which is going to be WAY better than a lead acid battery system just sitting there.
Financing will be a really great option for those that need it!! The best of luck getting that set up.
I can't remember your assistant's name in South Padre......that was Dick, correct?
Safe travels!!
Thank you for watching. We are excited to be able to offer financing options.
Yes, his name is Dick. 😊
@@TheDryCampers Awesome!! I really enjoyed talking with him while he was helping you do our install.
Thanks for the update, Dick is the one that did most of the solar panels on the roof of my Montana and he did a great job and very clean job and the real nice guy and Mike had the challenge of installing the equipment in the storage bay area and I don't think Montana 5th wheels make it easy but he worked his magic and worked his butt off and got it all in behind the wall and actually did more then I thought he was going to do. It tuned out great.
Glad to hear you are happy with your install. We appreciate the opportunity.
@@TheDryCampers I do have a couple of questions when you have a chance to call we haven't had a chance to use the trailer much it's been raining here for a month or two plus I am waiting for my great grandson to be born witch is over do now by a week so far LOL as soon as the rain stops I want to put my finish touches on the storage bay and the front where the batteries were.
question please , On Grand design fifth wheels I notice you never use the forward most bay to install . Seems you always choose the pass through bay . Why do you prefer that bay and doesn’t the inverter converter need airflow to dissipate heat , Thank you , Jim
Hi Jim, that is a good question. I use the pass through bay for a few reasons. It is temperature controlled and you do not loose storage space.
Yeah, I started watching your channel after I got your information from a guy you did a install on just outside of Daytona at a carpet and tile company he owns on US one, sorry hearing about your girlfriend splitting up
Thank you for watching! I appreciate the support and hope you enjoy my content.
Have u ever done or can u install 48amp systems?
Hi Reed, if you meant to say volts, yes I can. Why do you want a 48volt system?
@@TheDryCampers seeing some 48 volt systems and their ability to run higher energy demand products like microwave and AC. Sounds more expensive but have what seems like greater power to run bigger stuff.
