What type of solar panel mounting brackets do you use? Looks like standard z brackets on the inside but multiple on the outside?

Your description of the solar panels doesn't add up. I counted 7 large ones (look like Renogy 200W) and 14 smaller ones (look like Renogy 100W), for total of 2,800W. Correct?

Great build, love the timelapse. You guys definitely have the most space efficient designs that I've seen. For a system this size, I definitely would have done 24V or 48V, but perhaps they already had invested in 12V stuff and were just upgrading? Are the three inverters in pure parallel mode with Switch As Group? Wouldn't that mean that the minimum input current would be limited to no less than 30A for shore power for PowerAssist, so couldn't connect to small generators or 15A/20A circuits?

You guys do some very detailed and high quality installs. However, as a viewer that is interested in the details of how you did what you did, I get absolutely nothing out of 8 minutes of a fast forward video with a music track overlay. I (and I suspect others) would get more from from an 8 minute narrative showing a before and after of the install summary. Just my 2 cents worth!

Beautiful showstopper install. Utilizing positive and negative busbars versus the Lynx distributor? Is there an advantage to skipping the Victron distributor?

Holy cow. Imagine how many installations there are like this out there. Job Security! As a newbie I used installation drawings and recommendations from a professional with all Victron for my RV system. I am now taking an ABYC Electrical Certification course because I enjoyed it so much.

Every time that I do a project on our Airstream I discover shoddy craftsmanship. It's really a shame.

The worst part of the video was the use of angle brackets for the wood. RV MFGs clearly display wood must be attached directly to the subfloor with 1 flimsy indoor screw, no predrill. 😂

Fun to watch. Picked up a few tricks. I guess the commentary commenter wanted a 160 hour video : P

Beautiful install and well engineered. I'd love to have something similar. At what cost? $7k-$8K plus in basement equipment plus batteries and 18 panels up top? Plus 3-5 days of labor. Well above the budget of the average RV owner. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to do solar on my 33ft bumper pull to get me off-grid for 3-5 days of boondocking. But not when it's 50% of the cost of my camper. My guess is this install was in the $25K range, or maybe up to $40k . It's just a hard number to swallow to justify these high dollar installs vs the benefits. But again, LOVED IT! Keep doing them!

Wow, good job fixing that mess. You may have saved that customer's life. I can't believe they ran a single 4awg wire to run 2 multiplus's (6,000 watts/12v = 500A!) OMG! They should be at least a 2/0 each, with one 350a fuse per inverter. I have a single 5,000w 48v inverter (that never draws over 100 amps) that I power with a relatively short 150a, 1/0 cable. A 400a fuse should be used on a 4/0 cable. Maybe they confused 4awg with 4/0? Who knows? And their AC side is just as bad. If you don't know, then you don't know - but either learn or hire someone who does know, or the resulting fire could be fatal. As always, your installs are a work or art too. Kudos.

We are full-timers currently in Davenport, FL and considering your Jacksonville project. We have an '05 Monaco Knight. I installed a system two years ago and need guidance for a change. We have three 360w panels, Victron Multiplus II 3000w, 150/70 MPPT, BMV712, Cerbo GX and touch screen, and four SOK2 206ah batteries. We generally dry camp half each month. I did a plug and play swap of the Multiplus II inverter with the old Magnum. It is fed with a single leg line from the breaker box on a 30amp fuse with a jumper from leg 1 to leg 2 on the inverter. I want to do two things -- 1) Remove the two leg line from the transfer switch from the main breaker box and route it to the AC In on the Multiplus II. I want to take AC Out to power the main breaker box making the Multiplus II a 50amp pass through as designed. 2) I want to confirm that I have the necessary safety equipment in place (fuses / breakers) and have you review my component settings so we are fully optimized. I don't think it will take too long to do the work especially if we can route the existing main breaker power in to a jbox and from there to the inverter (no new line to the xfr switch). Will this fit into your vision for the week?
