@@tarekmansur, hey! I just got a Sub37 and decided on a Digitakt. I'm realllly hoping Sequential releases a Rev3 that would be like their new Pro3, I'm more keen towards all the step sequencers that Korg has so hopefully they go that route, i'll def have my dream polysynth if they do that.
@@gordyrampling7632 please consider to check Moog Grandmother or Matriarch before buying the Sub 37. Personally I'm in love with the Matriarch and would recommend it for you to get. The REV2 is great and so is the Big Sky! :))

Nice work! How do you prevent the Sub37 sliding off the support arms, since they are set a bit wider than the instrument itself? Do you use velcro or something onderneath?
Another great video flexing synth muscles. But after watching your video "Dark Worlds" featuring the Rev 2 & P12 I'm left wondering P12 or Rev2? They both sound delicious! Unfortunately, I live 4 hours from the nearest place where I could experiment with either. I really like what you do with these synths and would like to pursue something similar. Wondering Prophet and Moog? Prophet and Prophet? How bout Prophet & Korg which would put two very different sounds together? Sort of like going into a restaurant with too many great selections, so you ask the waitress what's good tonight, only instead of a $20 - $40 dollar meal one eats and leaves, this is an expensive (for me) proposition requiring time to learn in order to get the best out of it. Any ideas, comment, opinions welcomed. Thank you for the inspirations.
Hehe! I know that feeling!! You can never have to many synths! :) I would go for the rev2, it not as expensive as the p12. But they both are incredible in their own way. I love the moog as well, it just makes different kind of noises!
I have DSI Rev 2 and Kurzweil Sp2x. There is something really special about piano and synth together. Lots of possibilities. I recommend your option of Prophet and Korg (or Kurz).

So i bought a Strymon pedal and a new phaser for my guitar. It's going to take a road trip to get my hands on a Prophet and a Moog and others.

Thanks, I will spend today sound designing. I am currently using a Waldorf Blofeld, a Yamaha Montage 6 and the Rev2 of course. The Montage is very complex so I'm still learning all the features. The FM engine is very good for dark, powerful tones. I understand the Rev2 much better, but I'm still just getting started with it.
Your videos, including this one, were among the reasons to buy a sub37 last january. And now tomorrow, my rev2 arrives :) Also had a Bigsky for 3 months, but sold it. Wasn't sure if € 525 was worth a one trick pony. Right now, I'm having doubts if I should have sold it. haha. :) Using the Valhalla Shimmer vst now instead, sounds huge as well.
I too have the same synth setup. In my opinion, I think the only sounds you can't create with these two can only be created with a modular setup. That's where I'm headed next.

Hi Transient Scale! Thank you! Well I think they are two different machines, the Pro2 has 4 oscillators plus 1 sub and the Pro3 3. But I still like the sound of the pro3, I will have to give it a super try. Let’s see if I can get hold of one! 😋 The REV2 is an 8voice version!

I have a quandary. My wants are being fueled by GAS! My want list: Sub 37 (already have the Grandmother) or Rev2 12 or Matriarch or Pro 3 or Prologue 12? Right now it’s a toss up between Rev2 12 or the Pro 3. I have a plethora of synths, but I have GAAAASSSS bad. Current count; DM12 Grandmother Blofeld Sledge 2 black Microfreak Modal CraftSynth2 and Skulpt Neutron PRO1 Pittsburgh Modular Microvolt 3900 Korg Kaossilator S2 JDXi which I hate with a passion so one of the above will be replacing that one. Waves Codex granular synth Casio WK 7600. Do I need them? No...Am I missing a synth? No... still...........
Hey Alex! I do have a sustain pedal. But the synths also got a button called HOLD which holds the notes you play. I'm using both I believe :) Thank you Sir!

Both of them are amazing! Though the Prophets are polyphonic so keep that in mind :)

Under the Sub 37 there are plastic "feet" that get supported on the Spider Arms. Really safe!
