Mario had great size and finesse, The Great One had incredible instinct and thought the game better than anyone, Bobby Orr revolutionized the Defensive position, Mr. hockey was as complete a hockey player as any in history... Connor is Hockey evolved. No one has ever played at his speed and everything he does he can do at his top speed. We are so blessed in Edmonton to be able to watch this player lead our team to greater heights. Leon, Connor and Hyman or Kane when he returns are the best forward line in hockey, bar none. Hoping we can catch lightning in a bottle in the next 3 or 4 years and get back to glory. LETS GO OILERS!!

Pastrnak/Bergeron/Marchand is the best line overall. Points + defense. I won't deny McDavid is the human highlight reel and I'd trade half a team for him, but even Ovi at 78 years old or whatever is just as good overall. 0 cups for Edmonton in the last 30+ years with so many #1 drafts. 0 with C McD.

@@RedColdRitsu I do say this. Edmonton has been blessed with top picks year after year, and haven't been able to parlay them into antyhing tangible. All I'm saying is that points alone don't make a line the best team in hockey, and putting Hyman or Kane on that line and still calling it the best is erroneous. You could put a pylon on the wing with C McD and Leon and they'd still score like they do. They'll just get scored back upon.

But I do know, when I see something special in sports, and this is just crazy. He seems to be skating twice as fast as everybody else and his stick handling is just out of this world. @@patgard3668 I mean. What sources would you deem reliable? Let's check with the great one.
Checked with wayne, and I would agree with Gretzky as a reliable source, and Gretzky says the same thing.
Aside from the fact that I have two eyes and a brain between my head. I grew up in edmonton, Gretzky fan all the way, also obviously a connor fan (just like wayne). Connor is just more genetically gifted. Even with Wayne in better equipment, connor is physically a specimen compared to Wayne. This is obviously a topic of opinion, I'm gonna be stubborn and say my opinion is objectively right.

Draisaitl is a lazy bum who contributes nothing of value.
Take Drai away from McDavid = McDavid continues crushing without hickup.
Take McDavid away from Drai = complete implosion of stats.

Better than Gretzky tbh. Won’t ever surpass Gretzky on the stat sheet but talent and skill wise mcdavid is way better that’s why I think u gotta consider him as a top 5 player all time as long as he continues his dominance for at least another 5 years

While this McDavid scores his little dipsy doo goals, Gretzky was busy turning his wingers into 70 goal scorers. Cant believe im even replying to this non sense. By this time in Gretzkys career, he had left the greatest scoring hockey dynasty he created, to one of the worst teams in the league..and still won the Hart and Ross trophy. Sure hope this McDavid isnt the face of the NHL...hes got the personality of a door knob....anyway, enjoy your boring, dump and chase pathetic hockey that no one cares about anymore...
