His goal at 7:30 just made my jaw fucking drop. Mcdavid is literally the future of hockey. Gretzky, Lemieux, Howe, Sid, they were and still are exceptional generational talents within their own merit. But Mcdavid is simply a freak of nature that gives a picture of the caliber of speed, athleticism, and skill that hockey will eventually evolve into.

We are so blessed in Edmonton to be able to watch this player lead our team to greater heights. Leon, Connor and Hyman or Kane when he returns are the best forward line in hockey, bar none. Hoping we can catch lightning in a bottle in the next 3 or 4 years and get back to glory. LETS GO OILERS!!
Pastrnak/Bergeron/Marchand is the best line overall. Points + defense. I won't deny McDavid is the human highlight reel and I'd trade half a team for him, but even Ovi at 78 years old or whatever is just as good overall. 0 cups for Edmonton in the last 30+ years with so many #1 drafts. 0 with C McD.

I'm a fan of Toronto and I love to watch Matthews play. After that ridiculous 60 goal season last year, I was so hyped I started believing that he was finally on the same level as McDavid, but it's just not true. They are both amazing players, but clips like these just makes it seem like McDavid is playing against a practise team that is trying to make him look good
I don't watch hockey (I live in Denmark and the hockey is so dull here) and I have never even heard about this guy before. But I do know, when I see something special in sports, and this is just crazy. He seems to be skating twice as fast as everybody else and his stick handling is just out of this world. Makes defenders look like training cones. Some of these goals remind me of Diego Maradona on the football (soccer) pitches in the 80's. Just a level or two above everybody else.

I'm a Canadian who stopped paying attention to regular season hockey for decades. Don't get me wrong, I loved watching the playoffs, Olympics, World Juniors and such but I'd completely stopped watching regular season hockey. McDavid has brought me back. I watch almost every Edmonton game now. Anytime he hits the ice you know there is a chance you're going to see something special, something that just makes you feel alive. When he leaves the ice you're just waiting for his next shift. How many people have ever made you feel like that?
I have seen many great players, including Russians. But McDavid surpasses them all. He's just a monster! If he continues to play at this level, he will become the best player of all time.
