Very respectable bread! Im really dont think the butter exercise was worth it considering the cost of heavy cream but the bread definitely looked like a good recipe. Maybe flatten it out more next time to cook more evenly?

Def need a solution to the cook time but I have a sneaking suspicion that solution is practice 😂 I agree - good to know how to make butter in a pinch but probably not something I’ll do regularly unless I have an excess of cream. What a good problem to have, too much cream 😉
Bread freaks me out too. lol. I’m very confident with quick breads. I’ve made hard crust bread many times but just never have the confidence that it will turn out good. Practice practice practice! Thanks for your efforts. The butter looks like a fun project. Need to try.
