The Ubeesize 8" Ring Light features three different color choices as well as a 10 stop adjustable brightness. The Ubeesize 8" Ring Light is easy to set up, it's light, and it works great.
In this video, I show you everything from the unboxing to how it works without any other studio lighting. I test it with my Panasonic GH5, Panasonic G85, and my iPhone 6s+.
The Ubeesize Ring Light also comes with a mobile phone clip to make life easier if you are shooting on a phone. I also test this in the video also.

I was able to set up everything except the phone clip. I has a foam like piece inside but I couldn't get it to fit properly on the stand nor close the clip. Then I thought it was maybe packing material but when I tried it without the foam it was too big and kept sliding down. I watched another video where the person specifically said that it was NOT packing material but never showed the process of how they got it on. Help!

You can connect it from a phone charger style power brick or any USB power. It doesn't have mains power.

If you have a second tripod you can do that but just use the clip it comes with and put the phone facing forward right under it. It will give you the same look.
I’m here because of covid 😅 I’m thinking of this one because the other ones are kind of expensive
You know if you did more photography and less video, you'd know that the main reason to use a ring light isn't even covered in your review. The idea is to shoot through the donut hole and then you get a very pleasant shadowless effect and a great circular catchlight. You did note that one could shoot through the hole but left it at that. So, as far as your review is concerned, it's just a weirdly shaped light.

tired to use this for a 2nd time, but the ring light would never come on, the blue light of the control came on, but the light would never come on, very disappointing, its too expensive for a one time use.
did you try a different power source?

Sometimes stuff doesn't survive shipping or maybe it was a dud. All three of mine are still going strong. Send it back for an exchange.
