Very nice. I like the developement of your work in every video. Constantly optimizing. What exactly is GG-laminate? Where can I get it? What does G.G. stand for? Any spar in your wing or just the glass/carbon exoskeleton-elements?
Thank you! GG is gorila glue but you can use any PU timber liquid glue available. It is the one that expands while curing. Laminating is when you glue 2 pieces of the same material to make it stronger. In this case 2 pieces of foamboard, top and bottom glued with GG to form a wing shape.
@@afilos Do You think that it would be good? Laminating two "just" foam board wing parts with D4 wood glue (without any paper covering) and after curing I would cover them with packing tape? Thanks!
Thank you for sharing this wonderful glider. Great job. Would you share your flysky settings? I recently wanted to build something similar but was discouraged to read on forums that flysky is not suitable for launch mode on dlg and I can not afford a different tx. You seem to do a great job with it.
Hi, thank you, I am not an expert on flysky TX but I found a way for minimum setting on my DLGs. I will upload a video of how to set it up at the weekend. Don't expect fancy or multiple mixes, because this TX is not able to do, but you can get your DLG flying decently :-)
Your new DLG is very nice ( excellent development), I like Your wing build method (very thin 8mm, its awesome). What kind of glue did You use for the wing's reinforcment parts (under the yellow and red parts)? It is interesting that You turned the nose (balsa) part over. Why You did it? Although I think that the electronic part will not damage in any landing.
Thank you. I used epoxy for the CF strip on the top and bottom wing. I turned it upside-down because I wanted a bottom-mounted horizontal stab and didn't want to bother altering the fuselage.
@@afilos Very nice descriptoin You add the wing mounting system. I like it very much! I will try to a similar, but I do not want to drill the boom. Can I use half clamps fixing to the wood sheet under the wing?
Sorry about that, I don't recall now what I was referring to. Hey, my foam 1.4 m is nearing completion but I think I'll need a motor in order to fly it, lol
Great work. Thank you for posting. It would be great to see more build video. Looking forward to the flight. Good luck.
Thank you, check out my other build videos here: ua-cam.com/play/PL24KP2KUegseP4qjXo-nDTnHuhzUaAMEe.html

No spar in the wing is needed as long as you keep the paper of the top and bottom surface of the wing. The paper gives the wing its strength.

@@goldenfish77 No this won't work, you will need to add also a carbon spar.

Any chance we could get the words easier to read?
what words?
