Who taught the drummer her skills - Gene Krupa? I note her wrist movement, rather than arm movement of most drummers these days. The whole group now sits just right with me!
The amount of songs these talented musicians have in their repertoire is so inspiring. Nichol is truly a guitarist’s guitarist. Great sound and such an effortless look, such fluency in picking those tasty melodies
Back on the Gretsch amplifiers. Fender Twins must be on the way to the next gig. New Mark Bass amp too. These ladies are pros and always sound amazing!
@@DEEZNUTS1981 hi there..sure I'll check it out..lol..last time I was there we had the contact to demo the upstairs an redo all the drywall..bar was open..ha..so we did alot of drinking too😜..ok an the time before that was back in the late 70's...saw Earl Scruggs an Lester Flatt. awesome time!!
If I hadn't read some of the comments, I would have passed this right on by. they're very good. love the tones of those fenders. and the drummer is very good.
Pacific North West is the part of North America that The Surfrajettes have never been to despite many people asking again and again. I read years ago that apparently it is ''Too far. Too expensive'' but they're bigger now so we'll see.
They look like they just had a fight with each other.......if your going to play surf music, SMILE while your doing it, even if you have to fake it !!! 😁
Why is it necessary to disparage, especially when you don't even play? If you did, or if you were any good, or had any stage experience you would not say this.
@@julesl6910 So not a guitar player and not a performer who knows anything about what these performers do. Why disparage? They made no claims, shared no aspirations, no attacks on anyone. They just shared their music and lots of people enjoy it, so why disparage?

Man they sound great! The Surfrajettes are so underrated.
Very nice! I like the drummer venturing into Keith Moon territory.
I think the whole concept of the band is a great idea, and flawlessly executed.
Damned good drummer! She knows her job.
I’m a fan. Old school. All fender all the time

From one drummer to another, you did an amazing job madam.
The Shangri -Las with guitars, COOL!
They have such nice equipment because these cats and their stunning surf music are booked solid for as far as you can see.
Best girl band name ever!
A day without Sarah is a day without sunshine 🌞. Sarah is a Goddess!
I can't get over how much they've improved from when I first became aware of them. That was pretty much flawless and so much fun to listen to!
Love these ladies.

OMG the intense pressure not to make a mistake in their 'on the boards environment must be immense every gig night, these musicians are super kool...

They always look like that. Get over it.
How many days on the road is this? ❤ Britney ❤
If this was guys, this is what 12 year old kids sound like playing the Ventures. Sorry Ladies
Bullsh*t. I listen to a lot of surf music and Nicole and Shermy are as good or better than any one else playing this music today.
