One thing that is guaranteed to put a smile on my face, the Surfrajettes. I finally got to see them on tour, had a great time. These ladies have been on the road a lot the last year.
Wow, I haven't heard "Pipeline" for decades. Hearing it played so well brings back so many happy memories from so long ago. Thank you and please keep making such wonderful videos!
I saw them live a couple of days ago, and they wore the same outfits. They can only bring so many outfits on a tour across the country, but they always wear cute 1960's style go-go outfits, that's part of their image.

Just looked at their tour schedule and it looks like they are going into ON Canada! They seem to lack dates on the west coast which is weird since this surf rock movement is a California think IMHO.
I know the ladies are sticking to their guns and vision and I respect it. Love the transition from Paint it Black to Pipeline. I still say some vocals here and there would really elevate the band. If one of you ladies sand Paint it Black..."outta the park!!!". I would not put any kind of vocals over Pipeline, but choosing your moments some tastefully placed vocals would be really nice. Think about it.
After seeing some of these clips, I can only admit that these ladies have an excellent feeling for melody lines. Too bad they are not reading these comments, because my question would be : why not make a mix with Paint in black and Summer Wine?
Me too! A little late YT! 5 mo. ago? Nicole is SO HOT! People underestimate the live guitar and no vocals thing! Then you got reverb and some echo. Then the reverb got existed due to stereo 2 and quadrophonic 4 channel sound. back in the '70.
I often wish that the camera person would isolate on the drummer now and again. She appears to be great, but I need to follow her movements better to make sure.
