I just started doing Uber, I’m not doing trips under $8. Most orders have Me driving 20-30 minutes those are usually $10+ on the further and I’ve gotten 2 $20 tips already and some $10 tips. Keep grinding y’all, it can happen. We’re out here 💪

It’s $6 now. I’ve seen a few $9 offers ended up $10s $12s. Theses companies are trying to cut down cherry picking.

I just notice it since last week, yeah man. Uber is pulling DoorDash trick. DD is hiding any tip above $4.
I just hate that Uber didn't disclose this information anywhere in the app and the "customer tipped you more" msg is just a complete lie. At least doortrash shows total may be higher on the order screen.
btw im in Vancouver, Canada and our hidden tips also start at 8$, so if others are saying it's different I guess it must depend on market
You make a good point. Uber is lying too us, where as Doordash hides tips too but makes it known. I've only heard one person say the tips move from lower than 8$. Maybe that's market specific, but I doubt it. It is very possible for the customer to actually go in and increase the tip for good service, just like they can completely remove it. I've only had the tip actually be increased once by a repeat customer, and I've only been tip baited once too.

I have gotten a few large tips on Uber Eats but when that happens they shut down the app and tell me send me a message saying that issue must be resolved before I go online cuz I think that was a mistake for them to send me the large tip I don't know what's going on there but every time I get one they shut down the app
That’s very very interesting. I’ve never heard of uber kicking somebody off of the app for sending them a large tipping order. It’s very common for them to send me that error message at the beginning of the week, but I always just have to submit a picture of myself to verify it’s me on my account. You should check on your uber Home Screen underneath where it says “go online,” and see if it provides you with any more details about what issue you need to resolve. Hopefully this helps!

Do you still do this? If so are ur offers still that good? They sure are not like that where I am right now. Almost every single uber eats is $1 or less per mile and that includes the tip
I still actively do EzCater and Amazon Flex but it’s been a little over a month since my last Doordash or Uber Eats order. I agree that it’s slowed way down. It’s nowhere near what it used to be like. There’s always money out there, you just gotta go find it. 👍

OMG! A little over $100 in three hours OMG! I go out for three hours and I make if I’m lucky $30 usually it’s less I wanna move to your market where you at Florida is a hole in the wall, cheap cheap cheap people
I get increases tips all the time with Uber eats. Literally every day.
Any order with a tip higher than $8 was likely a hidden tip. It’s possible for a customer who tipped for example $3 to increase the tip afterwards but extremely rare. When you see an order that says $10 for 2 miles, Uber is hiding a tip from you. It’s not 100% of the time, but about 75% of the time the “customer will tip you more after the delivery.” At the end of the day it doesn’t really matter, it’s nice to see more money in your account, but knowing that the orders that say $10 for a mile or 2 have that hidden tip potential 75% of the time versus the $8 for 2 mile order that doesn’t can help you maximize your earnings. Both are great orders, but one will probably have a hidden tip. I hope that makes sense. The more knowledge we have about these apps the better we can do. 👍

I work in Brentwood, Tennessee! I live a little bit closer to downtown Nashville, but parking and traffic is a nightmare here. 😂
