This show was great from the beginning (though a little slow) but from the second half of season one to now (half way through season two) has been gripping, intense and possibly one of the best things of tv....that must have something to do with the addition of Mimi Leder coming on board half way through season 1
That woman has such an incredible talent to where every time she opens her mouth you are instantly pulled to every word she is saying. I think it's when she started talking for me.
That is hillarious how he talks about the "stoning scene". Because that was the scene that drove alot of people away!. Critics were saying "its too dark!".
what's the "school..." "...of belief" that Carrie refers to at 45:10 about acting making people healthy? cuz whenever I've promoted that idea about playing I got dismissed as being "segregative" or "jealous" or sthing. Is there a discourse about that? Or have I just been dropped at a petty place to notice that.
interesting that this series included religion, Christianity, the Bible in an actual real way. Not painting the Bible or the pastor character as sinister or corrupt as Stephen King often does and most of modern Hollywood has done.
I had to stop this. I love....I don't even know it that's the right word....where Nora and Kevin ended. It feels like the right place for me. We don't know about the Beyond. Maybe we should just value the Now.
tara clegg "The guy with the hat" is the creator, showrunner and head writer of the show, and, since he's responsible for Lost as well, one of the most influential voices in TV this side of the year 2000.
I got a offer I couldn't refuse from DirecTV. It includes three free months of HBO. I tried to binge watch The Leftovers to catchup I could only watch two and a half episodes. This show is an adult dosage.
eccleston is too old school. i get respecting the words but by not integrating the words to your own voice, you’re not doing your job as well as someone who does. 🤷♂️
Season 2 might be the most captivating television I´ve ever seen.
ThomasSaPe it's top 5 seasons of tv I've ever seen.
Season 3 topped it amazingly!
And then season 3 somehow managed to top it!
Even seeing the actors of this amazing show makes me feel electrified.

I could listen to Ann Down talk all day. I just love her. Also, I see where all the F bombs come from in The Leftovers- Lindelof! LOL I love it!
Was happy to see her in the season 2 trailer myself =)
Me too! It caught me by surprise!
Would you date outside your race?
I dont know how i went from hating Ann Dowd's character to loving it
João Luiz I think we all did
Good luck saying the same of Aunt Lydia
Lindeloff showed us damaged human in her. Her pain and her potential.
One of the greatest characters in television history, performed by one of the greatest actors

Christopher Eccleston is like "please don't ask any Doctor Who questions. please don't ask any Doctor Who questions. " the whole time.
I only watched it for Christopher Eccleston because yes he is my Doctor but I'm glad I turned in for the show because it's really good
Patti was an amazing and terrifying character
just finished season one... oh my... the next few weeks of binge watching should be very fun!!
love the dog comments. and the stoning scene was the most impactful scene in the series so far. i won't ever forget it. great scene. so intense.
Thanks for posting this.
I would’ve shown up to this Cosplaying as that dude on the pillar
I'd be the guy getting trampled! (No I wouldn't, but it sure would be freaky, wouldn't it?!)
44:35 Elena Fisher!
That is hillarious how he talks about the "stoning scene". Because that was the scene that drove alot of people away!. Critics were saying "its too dark!".
Oh that's just BS. It was dark but it was all for the story.
honestly if they dropped off at that point, good riddance. They weren't going to get any of it any way.
I wanna see Ann Dowd fight character actress Margot Martindale to the death.
the best fucking show!

If alot of people start watching this Series, then the Writers are doing something wrong.

51:24 years later Damon Ends Watchmen with a cliffhanger 😂..he really doesn't learn anything 😂
loved the show, but lindelof seems so full of himself.
Why did he let the guy with the hat talk so much? Gees.

Cyberflix
i thought the same thing at first. put it on hold for months.
Lindelof's talking is just babbling incoherent incomplete thoughts, much like the plotlines of Lost.
I wouldn't say it's all incoherent babbling, but he surely likes to hear himself talk. 🙄
The interviewer is really annoying
So good they cancelled it, gutted!!!
EdensSecret1 what?
PATTI STOLE THE SHOW. SHE IS SUCH A STAR!!!!!
