- First Night Flight in Seattle, low light test, night mode camera test of the Mini 3 (release date: May 10, 2022). Unedited to show raw footage of Night Skyline and nearby areas in low light. Top 10 reviews on UA-cam show excellent low light capture, smooth flight, crashes into tree branches and wires despite optical avoidance, longer battery and flight range (warning: buildings and trees hamper the signal a lot!). Much quieter than the Mini 2. Mini 2 is cheaper but will require white balance tinkering in flight and noise cancellation on post. Enjoy and good luck!

DJI Mini 3 Pro has amazing low light capabilities, see for yourself! This video is unedited to show raw footage of the Mini 3 vs Mini 2 and Mavic 3 drones. I noticed that the Camera Auto mode (bottom right corner icon) was needed first, then tinkering with the Manual White Balance, in order to get the best results. Takeoff area needs to be clear of buildings and trees to get the best reception. Thanks for watching!

Terribly blurry and very noisy. Is this drone really doing so poorly? Compared to the mini 2, the three pro is much better in the evening, but the image is still not very detailed and blurry. Probably due to the quad bayer matrix (combining 4 pixels into one), the detail and the soap image drop. Maybe your settings were wrong? Because youtubers who are friends with DJs compared the quality of the video to expensive cameras such as the Sony A7IV or Sony A1.
I totally agree with you! But the problem is not on the quad bayer matrix, the problem is first with the low quality lens DJI place on their drones. The video definition is not there at all and the noise makes things even worse. Now, comparing both of these drones to the Nano+, the Nano+ eats both drones alive in low light: ua-cam.com/video/76PADlkzsPg/v-deo.html in this video you can see the two ladies looking at each other.
@@InteractiveDNA The nano+ has bad colors and oversharpening sadly but its sensor is solid. Rest of the drone is far from DJI level so for the asked price, its really not good. But the concept is solid and if they improve with a v2, it could be a great contest
I appreciate your comments: I think that others have had trouble with Auto Focus. It might be because I was flying in Sport Mode in low light conditions. I did not use any Noise reduction which would have helped. The DJI Mavic 3 did better with sharpness.
