Ohhh….congratulations on the mending! It always feels so much better once you can wear the item properly. You reminded me I have a skirt that I need to do. Those shorts do look like a challenge, I don’t even think I would want to do it…lol. Of all the LSF dresses, the Norma dress is my very, very favorite! I have the pink dyed version, but I love the white, and would love it have it in my wardrobe. Speaking of wardrobe….how exciting!! I can’t wait to see the results!! I would so wear the heck out of that white skirt with the train, especially around the house. Where else can you find a skirt that cleans (sweeps the floor) while you are walking around looking beautiful!! 💖🌸🎀
oh goodness I felt so so much better after getting those clothing items to fit properly 😍 Yep... I think I ruined the shorts unfortunately lol but I needed to replace them anyway so I will probably just purchase another pair from & Other Stories. Ooooo I have seen the pink version of the Norma dress and it's STUNNING! 🎀 And the materials for the closet are on the way so it should on be a week or so before I can share the closet transformation!!
Not sure if you’ve tried the powdered BIZ to get that stain out, but it works so well. I have a friend that took a course in renewing antique fabrics, and this was one of the tips. You can soak it overnight and it won’t hurt the fabric. Worth a try, if you haven’t already!

I am so excited to see how your closet makeover goes. I totally need to do that as my closet is about the same size as yours and I have the same problems. Every time I do a closet declutter I find items that I forgot I had because they got pushed to the back of the closet or jammed in between other items. I am loving this!

HI Sarah looks fun very handy to have the sewing machine you can make some fab outfits but for me do not have a lot off patients have tried wish had your talent maybe get back to trying one day However with todays sewing machines came make some amazing outfits Donna xoxo
I'm certainly a beginner with sewing and I am realizing how much patience it takes! It's helpful learning on an older sewing machine to learn the basics too. I'm sure the modern sewing machines are amazing! It would be fun one day to learn how to use a newer one!💗
@@SarahKathleenRomantic Very much so Sarah with the new sewing machines sure a lot more easy to make outfits than the older ones but you still get to make the outfit you want just takes that extra time id be still lost with the old and new lol like buying a loaf of bread you buy the one on the shelf or you make your own takes time but all works well Donna xoxo
