    For anyone looking at this. Immediately go to Santacruz syndicate brake bleed tips and learn a gravity bleed. Super Simple and effective. No messing about with syringes and tubes.

      Word up! Marshy knows best. Also tap the caliper, hose and lever when the reservoir is in to get more air out😊

      unless you have air behind a piston..... his bleed works great if no air stuck behind piston

    Finally a video with clearly outlined steps, that doesn't make hydraulic brake bleeding seem like some cross between engineering for spacecraft and surgery. Thanks!

    Very good instructions, thanks a lot. Just bled mine, rear feels great, but the front seems to require one more bleed.

    Very simple and well done cant wait for my Saints to arrive it Will be a huge differance from Two Piston XT to 4 Piston Saints which seems to be the most powerful Shimano Brakes

      @OresteCiotoli  2 роки тому +1

      Hello Benjamin, this depends on the type of shifter you have! I have a I-SPEC B shifter and i do not require anything additional, but maybe you would need this one: www.bike-components.de/de/Shimano/Schrauben-mit-Mutter-fuer-SL-M670-M780-M820-M980-I-Spec-B-p39567/?o=100001-universal-universal#module-product-detail-reviews

    I tried this method with my saints and they still feel spongey, should I be pushing the fluid up and down a few times to get all the air out?

    • @OresteCiotoli
      @OresteCiotoli  8 місяців тому

      Yes, this method should be bulletproof 🤜🏻

    what happens if you bleed with the brake pads in?

    • @OresteCiotoli
      @OresteCiotoli  2 роки тому +3

      Overall you can definitely do it Martina, nothing change BUT: you have to be very careful with mineral oil, if it's going to the pads or discs then you have problems 🥲

  •  Рік тому +2

    When you screw the cup for the first time, if you leave the plunger with a bit of oil, it traps the air out

    sei passato dai CODE ai SAINT👏🏻?

    • @OresteCiotoli
      @OresteCiotoli  2 роки тому

      si dopo aver provato gli RSC ho affiancato i saint perchè mi sembravano TROPPO deboli, e per me non ci sono dubbi su quale freno sia il migliore. Nelle prossime settimane testo i saint con pastiglie e dischi galfer!
