Great work! Is their an aluminum crush washer on the oil plug and if so is it a good idea to change it? Lastly, can it help the oil filter seal better to smear a thin coat of fresh oil around it before installation?

5w30 and 5w40 is a synthetic oil viscosity tolerance with which you can use on your car

The oil filler cap or owners manual should say. Mine takes 5W-20 conventional oil.

I have a Mazda 3 2008 , and I use 5W-30 fully synthetic oil for my car, and I noticed that you’re using 5W-40 !
Should I change my oil type?

Remarks Mazda genuine Dexelia oil e.g.
Except Europe
Grade: API SG, SH, SJ, SL, ILSAC GF-2, GF-3
Viscosity:
40, 30, 20, 20W-20, 10W-30, 10W-40, 10W-50, 20W-40, 15W-40, 20W-50, 15W-50, 5W-20, 5W-30

If you have petrol engine you can use WK 614/46 filter from MANN or KL 559 from MAHLE
How much do u tighten the oil drain plug?

Install the oil pan drain plug with a new washer. Oil pan drain plug tightening torque 30-41 N·m {3.1-4.1 kgf·m, 23-30 ft·lbf}
What is the size of oil filter wrench you use?

Remove the oil filter using a cap-type oil filter wrench 76 mm {3.0 in} diameter, 15 sided

4 liters of oils is enough for this model? I have read on website 3,9 liters capacity + 0,2 liter filter capacity (=4,1 L). I don't want to buy 5 liters of oil if isn't necesarry.

Oil capacity (approx. quantity)
Unit measure in liters {US qt, Imp qt}
Oil replacement 3.7 {3.9, 3.3}
Oil and oil filter replacement 3.9 {4.1, 3.4}
Total (dry engine) 4.2 {4.4, 3.7}
You will need 5 liters cause this engines burn oil...
@@andriciflorin6091 I've changed the oil twice since I asked that question. I never had to fill more than 4 liters. It is between the minimum and maximum indication between exchanges. It does not consume oil at all.
@@Sword1207 I wouldn’t put in more than 3.9 liters. This engine holds 3.9 liters and you need to take in consideration the fact that some of the old oil stays in the system after draining. So stick with 3.9 liter max.
Big faulty, mazda 3 and what engine? Petrol or diesel?
