Thanks!
Awesome, Friend-Thank you!
I also have noticed once you cut off Sugar, processed food, and go eating just a little food… later on a few days the amount of pure energy you have is unbelievable. And you feel very light and energetic.
i eat whatever i want but limit my added sugar intake and run 25+ miles a week and swim and im in the best shape of my life
That's great!
@@awxuhI use to eat whatever I wanted minus the added sugar. Then age caught up with me. Now I definitely don’t eat whatever I want.
The absolute MOST important thing that I've noticed that's beneficial to having great energy levels throughout the day is definitely the fasting part, as in how often (or rather how relatively infrequently) you eat, and I only eat once a day, (OMAD), and I always have plenty of energy, pretty much regardless of WHAT I eat when I DO eat.
You can further enhance this energy of course, by also eating very healthy and nutrient dense food during your one meal a day, but the FREQUENCY of eating has even MORE of a significant impact on your energy levels than your specific DIET or food choices, in my experience.
Once your body is used to eating only once a day then you're running on ketones whenever you're not eating actual food, and once you get into that rhythm you have seemingly endless energy, and as long as you get in at least a semi decent and reasonably complete meal when you're finally truly hungry for actual food, then you can easily go another 20+ hours or so between your next meal the next day.
YES i've dome that too and in just a few weeks i felt a drastic difference in my energy. It really is so simple yet hard for people to understand or commit to
What we like about you is that you're one of us, but you figured it out and now you're inviting us to join you in health. Much respect.
00:13 ⚡ Magnesium is essential for ATP production; sources include spinach, almonds, avocado, and fish.
01:38 🔋 Sodium-potassium pump generates currents in cells; maintain potassium intake, crucial during ketogenic diets or fasting.
02:35 🏋♂ Boost energy with consistent exercise, intermittent fasting, and cold therapy, promoting mitochondria biogenesis.
03:31 🍇 Polyphenols from veggies, herbs, berries, and dark chocolate support mitochondria health, providing an energy boost.
03:46 🍽 Choose a low-carb diet for efficient ketone fuel over glucose.
04:27 🥩 Carnitine in red meat aids fat transport, enhancing endurance, delaying fatigue, and acting as an antioxidant.
04:41 🍎 Daily apple cider vinegar provides an acid fuel for mitochondria, contributing to increased energy.
04:55 🌿 B vitamins from sources like nutritional yeast impact ATP production, preventing fatigue.
This comment needs to be at the top😁👍
Thank you ❤
I start every day with a warm cup of water, 1tsp sole’, 1 TBSP apple cider vinegar. Later I drink a glass of water with Dr Bergs electrolyte powder. It taste really good. My health has improved since I started doing what he recommends.
Thank you
Dr.berg you saved me against diabetes dropped from 10.4 to 4.5. I can't thank you enough.
Glad I was able to help you. Stay safe and healthy!
All I do in the morning is long walks (6,000 steps) and Electrolytes. With IF and Keto, I am alert throughout the day, focused and energetic.
Can you please share your electrolyte mix and dosage with us.
@@dirkmoolman I actually leverage Doctor Berg’s brand. It has no sugar in it. One scoop (it contains a measured scooper). I will also squeeze fresh lemon juice in it, ACV teaspoon, and cinnamon. At the same time, I take my vitamins, too. Zinc, Magnesium, Calcium and Potassium.
What electrolytes do you use? And what is amount of potassium vs sodium?
I think I need to rephrase how I reply. My reply from yesterday was removed by moderators, I believe. I need to read the bylaws.
I take sugarless electrolytes … one scoop a day right after my workout. I include Apple cider vinegar, cinnamon, lemon or lime juice fresh in it as well. I take vitamin supplements with it, including magnesium, potassium, zinc and calcium.
If I didn't sleep enough or well enough, nothing helps. Exercise helps but its effect is temporary and fades little by little, just like if you have eaten carbs or had coffee. Sea salt in my tomato salad gives me energy, but not always. Magnesium doesn't help me at all. One thing that is not mentioned here in this video is having avocado with red meat. Not separately but at the same time. This makes my energy levels stable for a long time. But again, if you don't have energy it won't help. The only solution is to sleep well and long enough. 😉
pumpkin seeds are also a great source of magnesium
Thank you for the info. These tips do help.❤
One of my favorites. 😋
yes, but that magnesium is not as bioactive, as that from red meat
And zinc!
How many kilos of seed do you need to eat to reach the daily RDI?
So true Dr Berg! Sugar appears to be "helpful" with energy - but it is short sighted. I used to consume a crazy amount of candy, soda.... Every day. I had migraines, PMS, anxiety, depression, fatigue. Since I ditched the ultra processed garbage and look to foods for nutrients - my symptoms are gone.
You talked about the mitochondria - a crucial topic for optimization of health. I love that you use a food first approach, rather than still consuming garbage but adding in a bucket of supplements.
Another great video!
i have cfs
@@iamnoob7593 I do believe our bodies can heal when we focus on the terrain (full body system). Never lose hope 🌈
That's awesome! Thanks so much for watching and commenting!
Sugar is the CRACK of foods.
Cold shower, potassium supplement, magnesium supplement, exercise, low carb diet to stimulate ketones, red meat for Carnine, apple cider vinegar, nutritional yeast for b vitamins
Sipping my coffee watching how to make it more lasting. Thanks Dr berg
No problem. Thanks for watching the video.
💯😂Same here
@@DrbergDr berg and his team morning so if salads and veggies and nuts have protein and I get my protein from it instead of meat would it be a good decision or do we need to include meat also ? Cause if we include meat like 8oz that's about 50g protein plus a 1oz almond that's 9g protein and salad(veggies) 7 cup that's about 3 to 8 g protein so total= 62g to 70g protein wouldn't that be to much ? I'm doing omad
Hmm, you might have missed his comment about avoiding caffeine and sugar. No judgement intended as I recently switched from Coca-Cola to a sweet tea/unsweet tea/fruit juice/water mixture realizing that the caffeine & sugar from the tea and fructose from the fruit are still not good for me and I’m still exhausted.
That’s why I started searching Dr. Berg’s fabulous library of health education videos.
Thank you SO much Dr. Berg.
Love how blunt and straight to the point you are, Dr Berg 😂. You're so right, Keto improved my health and energy levels. Keep strong spreading the word 💯👍🏻
That's wonderful, Marie!

Dr. Berg, please make a video about the Vagus Nerve!
Yes! I used to give blood. The last 2 times I did, I passed out. Dr said it was due to Vagus nerve. His advice? Don't give blood anymore.
Hello. Thanks for the video suggestion. Take care.
Dr Berg please make a video about the Pankreasinsuffienz enzym
@@DrbergYASSSS do the Vagus Nerve Dr.Berg!! Somehow gerd popped up out of nowhere and caused extreme constipation. I start humming right after eating to stimulate my Vagus Nerve to produce bile and help me digest food. I would absolutely LOVE to hear what you know about this 😁😁😁😁😁
For me the best ways to increase energy are to exercise and reduce stress. Normally I see people with lack of energy not mainly because what they eat but because they cannot manage their stress.
This is video indeed talks about something we can physically do to put in our bodies to benefit us, but that's just part of it. The mental and emotional part aspect need to be accounted for as well, practicing mindfulness, gratitude, etc. Those practices need to be consistent just like what you eat. However, starting with a diet that Dr. Berg recommends will also help the stress factor long-term because the food you eat will keep the cortisol levels down consistently.
Dr. Berg is literally saving lives! Thankyou!!❤
Happy to help!
Dr. Berg always has perfect timing! 👌 Also, the background music was really distracting. I definitely don't intend to insult you guys, because I so appreciate all of your helpful information! But it made it really hard to focus on what Dr. Berg was actually saying in the video.
What background music?
Agreed.
Wow, the thing with the magnesium is really true. I once got recommended to supplement magnesium for muscular tension but I never stuck to it. I never associated it with energylevel though. After watching the video, I just had two days where I took a pill before sleeping and somehow I was way more energized the next day. I could get out of bed easier, had less of an afternoon crash. And it was only after one pill. Don't know if it is placebo, but I somehow felt a difference. Thank you for the tip!
Why is it so hard to find a good doctor like you in-person?
I was nodding my head up and down with this energy list of seven because now after watching your videos, I am doing all of those things.
This is one thing I've been trying to figure out how to get more energy. This is helpful, thank you, Doctor Berg.❤
Love this! Please make a video on what time you go to bed, what you eat & drink first thing to the last of the day and all your vitamins😁
Glad you love this. I have videos on UA-cam on what I eat daily. Just go to my UA-cam channel and use the search bar there. Use the keywords" Dr. Berg Eats".
You're funny you know you want to know more😂
@@constanceanderson3974 🤣
He gives us info here and there & sooo much more at times🤩I was wondering about up to dates schedule😁
@@Drberg Thank you so much🥰🙏
B vitamins is like magic. I discovered nutritional yeast from this channel and been consuming it daily since. It really makes a difference, especially if you eat lots of junk food like i do.
Don't know why, but I can't take nutritional yeast. Maybe because I have IBS?? I use B12. Works great for me.
But this is why we love him!!! For not covering the names of those brands . Thank u Dr berg
Absolutely true, Dr Berg. Always looking forward to your content daily. Thank you so much for your helpful advice.
You're most welcome!
Top 7 ways in my opinion
1. Sleep window open 365
2. 20-40 lbs weighted blankets
3. Cold plunge if you can
4. Walk 20 min 4x weekly
5. Find a spring
6. Sugar free raw kombucha
7. Superfood green piwder
I eat peanuts, high in B vitamin, pistachio also high in B vitamin. Pecans rich in zinc, and cashew nuts rich in magensium
Great video, Dr. Berg! This is so needed for so many out there.
Glad you like the video. Thanks for watching!
OMAD Fasting has given me so much energy!
Ya kicking the "Monster" big style 😮😅. Love it, Dr Berg. Watching from Newcastle, England 🇬🇧
Thanks for watching!
MCT also gives ton of energy and can also be combined with keto or low carb. Basically eating coconut oil also helps
I been putting that in my coffee along with my collagen peptides and when I was working out this morning I was noticing I had so much more energy to get the workout done.
Whard mct made of?
Good morning Dr. Berg fans & supporters! Always happy to watch a new video.
high value content. thanks Dr.B
Working for FedEx (especially during covid) made Ghost energy drinks my staple. It pretty much tore up my stomach and messed up my adrenals. Glad I quit (both Ghost and FedEx) and am on the mend
Day 39 of being back on clean keto. I'm still so incredibly, painfully exhausted every day. I wish I could just have a little increase in energy, just to show me I'm on the right track. I've really been watching my electrolytes, but I'm pretty sure I'm not getting enough potassium. I do find when I eat beef and a large salad, I get a small bump in energy the next day (or more accurately, I'm a little less tired). I'm slowly getting back into exercising, but it's challenging when there's so little energy. Been meaning to start taking apple cider vinegar daily - time to give it a try! Who knows, maybe it will make a difference!
Any update please
@@hamidomama3271 - Hi. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to take the apple cider vinegar for long. I've had throat problems for a long time. (Since my pregnancy back in 2007.) The acv was very painful for me to swallow, so I stopped after a few days. I did clean keto for a full year back in 2022. It made an amazing difference in my health - my immune system improved immensely, my throat felt so much better, my sinuses cleared (after being congested for decades), and there were many other improvements. I would highly recommend a clean keto diet. I've been back on keto for almost 6 months now. I'm not feeling the same benefits yet, but I know (for me) it takes time.
Are you in perimenopause or menopause? I have energy issues due to that because falling estrogen.
@@urbanmermaid2232 - I'm post-menopausal. Almost a decade. I've heard that keto can help post menopausal women with energy and hot flashes (which I get a lot of). So I'm hoping if I keep at it, over time things will improve. (It's helped with so many other things, so we'll see!)
Great info, explained well in a crystal clear manner is highly appreciated.
In such a short video.
Dr Berg I love your videos ♥️when I feel so down😞 I watch your videos because you are literally a boost of energy, goodness ,positiveness ,sincerity, optimism ,….I can continue on and on and on …God bless..your are unstoppable👏👏👏amazing sense of humour…killing them softly 👌 thank you ❣️❣️❣️

I’m sick of these comments with too many dots. Learn a fuckin grammee
Thankyou dr whenever I have sugar I feel so fatigued right after I’m done with sugar
Sir truly you just nailed it! Actually your videos are on point always. Thank you so much for this informative video ❤
Beautiful Video! love the music choice makes more interesting!
I tried so many advice but none work until i started taking gelatin. It gave me strength to do stuff. I finally started decluttering, cleaning & packing. The aches & pains greatly reduced too. And sleep improved.
How much gelatin do you take?
Hydrolyzed collogen, grass fed beef geletin, seaweed geletin, collogen from bone in sardines is also great. Bone broth to top it all off.
IF is wonderful for me to have more energy, I also save more time. Thank you.
Good morning Dr Berg, I do all these things beside cold theraphy and I eat all these foods you mentioned, You have changed my life for good. Thank you Sir.
That's wonderful news!
Thank you so much Dr.Berg for what you teach us🙏
God bless you 🙏

Each day I have been drinking fresh squeezed orange juice and pineapple juice with a cup of coconut water mixed in and it helps give me energy and it's delicious!!🍍🥥🍊
Thank you for giving us all these helpful ideas. I alway felt so good listening to you dr. Berg. Stay bless always.

I get different levels of energy depending on the color of my water. "Sun-water" 🎉 Thanks, kindly Dr. Berg, and have a great day, everyone! 🙂
Thank you. Same to you!
I bought today turmeric shots 😅😅and kombucha - calm and dark chocolate %70 cocoa i see when I do replacement I feel so good energy and don't want waste time to drink something or eat and feel dizzy one day ,not worth it ,love your body ,love yourself ,put good things to body - will thank u for that.
Great stuff as usual Dr. Berg! I’ll be watching your videos on dandruff & oily hair next!!
My ankylosing spondylitis makes me so fatigued (especially in summer).
It's the root cause of all my problems, even in my gut.
Been this way since my mid 20a, and am now 66.
Free form fatty acids are all fuel for mitochondria, that includes acetic acid, (vinegar) which is what alcohol is broken down into, we also make energy through the fermentation pathway if our main glucose pathway has a dis order( diabetes, which is likely a spectrum, not a type) Moderation is key.
Great stuff Dr Berg!!
So useful!!! Thanks for sharing with us!!!
spinach, almonds,, avocados for magnesium 🙌
Thank you for your sharing this ❤❤❤
Most welcome!
Thank you Dr Berg! I take your electrolyte powder, finish my shower with cold water and do a long fast every day. Doing everything I can!
You make one of the best videos, Dr. Berg.
Would love to see one on white tea(not milk tea), limes, rainbow carrots, and sweet potatoes, though.
Energy drinks are for people who don’t eat healthy or exercise. They’re really good for watching TV or scrolling on your phone.
This man is an absolute life saver! Someone who actually gives a shit and does shit naturally
Good video, I liked the pace and packed simplified info. Present on most of your vids but pace seemed up for some reason.
Potatoes are another great source of potassium! They have lots of it. I know it is not apart of Keto as they have too many carbs but they are still a highly nutritious food. Potatoes caused a massive population boom in both Europe and Asia after they were discovered in South America in the 16th century by Europeans and it then eventually became a staple food.
Cutting off sugar is a big one. What worked for me was consistent exercise through the day. So every hour I'd either go for a short walk up some stairs, or just drop and do 20 pushups and situps. It instantly recharges you, and you'll look a bit better in the mirror! Oh and if you can stomach it, beetroot juice.
in my personal experience, a 8 hour night sleep is my energy drink, i feel like a superman, my skin feels soft, face and body looks firm and less saggy, the whole day feels so positive
Thank you Dr.BERG
You're welcome.
Yay! 100% Precisely!! You da Man !!
Thanks!
Great! FYI - I prefer when the video is scheduled an hour earlier (as before) so I can enjoy my morning coffee while watching it. This new schedule threw my ritual out 🙃
I been doing body weight resistance and weight lifting 4 days a week and HIT type workouts. I been drinking a liter of snake juice a day and eating beets and cranberry juice and OJ daily and my energy is high! I also eat a banana 4 days a week.
Carbs give me energy, protein makes me satisfied, fibre makes me feel full and fat keeps my energy levels stable for a long time. I eat white bread with ghee and egg yolks to give me energy, when I feel depleted. That's how I can do whatever I have to do during the day. I exercise and burn the calories, so no problem, whatsoever. 😊
Thank you Dr Berg you have a wonderful day young man 🙏👍🌹
Super big time energy boost thank u mr berg definitely good info here 🎉
Great video, thank you :)
Dr. Berg is an honest person so I can rely on him🥰
Sounds good Dr.Berg...is there a supplement out that might give me some or all of these benefits?
Amazing,thanks for sharing
You're very welcome.
Thank you so much Dr.Berg , this is the valuable content for us.
Always happy to share helpful information with everyone. Thanks for watching!
Thank you!
In my opinion the new background music is unnecessary and distracting, I liked the old videos without the music
Agreed.
Hello Dr. Berg,
Thank you for sharing your knowledge. I started watching this video and immediately I searched what ATP is.
With a little digging I realised it takes I takes quite a bit of eduaction to truely understand this. I was brought to dna and rna, and a load of other information that I dont understand. I would definetly like to though :). Found I was looking up alot of words to haha.
Anyways. Thanks for using your knowledge to help. I suffer from low energy which leads to alot of problems and not the best life choices if you can imagine.
Im doing my research and I really hope this helps! Instead of putting bandaid on things I would rather solve the problem. I've also heard read, and watched a few videos stating that body energy distribution can help prevent cancer. I guess there is an argument that cancer is a metabolism, or metabolic disease? I'm probably not using the proper words, but I would like to know more :).
Anyways blah blah. Thank you for giving to humanity ❤️
We use Mg to treat chronic fatigue syndrome.
Short simple to the point
This made me feel very good the first day, but very sick the next.
Dr.Berg, I love your voice and science you present, but not the background noise please.🙏🏻
So many people are asking to stop the destructing noise, but his editors are completely ignoring that. It is intentional. Unsubscribed.
Dear doctor I am 43 years. By watching your videos and adopting keto diet, I lost 10 kg weight just in two months and I am more active but I am facing pain in backbone and decreased sexual performance . Please guide what I have to do.
My 75 year old grandma has 10x more energy than me and my I’m 35!!! She wakes up every morning wanting to deep clean, cook, bake and garden while I’m over here not being able to get out of bed 😭 She eats carbs but consumes very little sugar.
Hi Dr. Berg, Please make a video on Ramadan Fasting...
That is just intermittent fasting, sadly many people gain body-fat during Holy Month because they eat sweet fruit at Itfar and eat more during the normal sleep time. Best to adopt OMAD.
Thank goodness I've never drank energy drinks! I did drink diet soda many years ago. Now I drink 1 coffee a morning. I do keto & IF, still have low energy.
Thanks Doc
Dr Berg. Can you do a video on raising and leveling out hormones (estrogen) for a woman? Appreciate all that you do!

Hello. Thanks for the video suggestion. Have a nice day!
Thank you Dr Berg, this is super helpful!
You're welcome. Glad to share this info.
Hi Dr. Berg. Could you make a video on non-allergic rhinitis? Thanks.
I will definitely try it.
I’m low carb. I tried a preworkout which definitely worked but really didn’t need it. As I always have enough energy.
