Very cool bike! What camera do you use while riding and it looks like you are using chest mount. Is it? I am experimenting with a top bar mount but the handlebars bounce a little which is enough to look bad after a few minutes.
I use iPhone 14 pro at the beginning and GoPro Hero10 for the ride, yes it is chest mounted. I couldn’t use handle bar mount at all, when riding off road, it vibrates out of control and pictures sucks. Thank you for watching, I hope you enjoyed ☺️
Thanks for watching, unfortunately, there are no such steep hills here in central florida, especially Orlando, our focus is more on riding safely and effectively under rainstorm and monsoon winds. I can tell you that both bikes can ride in rain medium rain provided you put on some plastic covers around throttle , brake area. You have to ask some folks who live in Pittsburg or San Francisco, there hills everywhere there. Thank you for watching.
My fiance and I each have a Ariel Rider Kepler. The Kepler is great but the range isn't very good when you have to maintain at least 30mph. Ariel Rider doesn't have any extra batteries, they can't even get me touch up paint. We don't feel confident trying to jerry rig batteries to the controller. Fiance has the "step thru" mid low step but I think she would've preferred a real step through like the Wicked. It doesn't look very thick and supported like other step thrus, like The Aventon. Does it seem as sturdy as the Kepler? It would suck to have the frame crack/break.
I have ridden the Cruiser 1 month now, it is solid weld ( thick short bar at above bottom bracket) may be a 800 lbs Gorilla can snap that but no way a human especially a woman. It is cruiser not a downhill mountain bike! No problem at all on streets or trails. As for Kepler you have to add 2nd battery to the setup in order to maintain 30 mph and have good range, every ebike that travel 30 mph and above will need 2 nd or 3rd battery setup to keep up with that speed and have range. You can not do any ebike with range @30 mph with battery less than 35 or 40 ah)
@@MrMtr999 That should be true but Fiido, Heybike and some others in the under $2000 range that look like Rad Runners are having their frames crack or break in half just from basic every day commuting. We were looking at the Fiido T1 for her, glad we didn't get it. Our city doesn't have bike lanes, you have to share the right lane with cars and adult riders can't ride on the sidewalk so for safety me maintain at least 30 mph or cars get overly aggressive trying to pass you. If I could get more batteries I would but I don't feel confident trying to wire into the controller to make them work. People are paying 10k just to get that kind of range built into their bikes.
@@kfox5301 you are right to be worried but from my weekly commute, this frame is strong enough. Nope you don’t spend $10k to get the range, watch my video on Kepler 40 ah setup, very easy to do. I have that setup since July last year, it works perfect. You can do it. Unless you are non mechanically inclined at all then it will be difficult on any ebike not just Kepler. It is easy guy. Excellent review. Does increasing C5 to level 10 (overvolting) cause any overheating? I haven't noticed any but it's really cold where I've been riding.
That is the throttle power, there is no issue so far, the controller runs like champ. Be careful you can lift the front wheel up with full twist, i have a couple times doing that. I like the settings in this video and have no change since making this video.
Get something else? A lot of great bikes in the market if you are not picky, they are about the same if you don’t go over 28 mph your usual ir daily ride
Very good video thank you. Do you know if we can change how many pedal assist levels you have on this bike? And also can you change the amount of power in each pedal assist setting to your liking? Thank you
I like 5 pas, all my ebikes use 5 pas, and i like the way it comes and has not changed any of that, i think you have to read the manual and go from there or search KT lcd8H settings. I stopped at where i like my bike to be, i believed there are more advanced setting to change but i did not go that far. I like my current settings and want to leave it that way. Thank you again for watching and interest. Best regards🙏
Anyone worried about going too fast should not purchase this bike or the Kepler. The experienced riders know how to feather the speed when riding slow is necessary.
Can you do a comparison between the Kepler and this wicked freedom? Would like to see a kepler vs freedom video to see the actual difference between the bikes. The differences seem to be slight. Maybe a vs video will show just how much they differ or how much they don't.
@@orvillecooper8334 may be he just wrote but really don’t have? I know Rad seems to have that tire but not sure as i m not interested. I like 26x4 a lot.
Kepler has excellent rear rack to put your large bag on but it won’t ship same week like Wicked. Also both bikes will need 2nd or 3 rd battery to cover your range if you want to ride 40 miles or more all day which you will to make money. It will cost more than $2k for sure with either bike. Also these bikes they don’t stock parts fir repair or replacement right away you have to contact them and wait who know how long, especially Kepler. Are you in nyc? You might want to see Arrow10 or Fly11 delivery bike, those are the best bikes for delivery and have parts to repairs! But they don’t do shipping only nyc area from their shops. Fly 11 might do shipping to other states but with expensive shipping fees. Hope this help.

On the website it claims that this bike gets anywhere from 35 to 80 miles of range. What is The furthest distance you have went with the wicked bike and do you think it’s possible to get 80 miles on a single battery? I did see a UA-cam video where the person doing the video on distance with the wicked freedom bike, and I believe he got 36 miles but he was using full throttle and pedal assist. Or if anyone else that has one of these bikes feel free to comment also.
I would say 60 -80 miles give or take riding on pas1 occasional throttle. Pas1 can top out 22 mph with gear 7 or 6 pedaling. That is very fast and great speed for pas 1
It sold as class 2 top 20 mph, and pas1 is about 11 mph, once you unlock it goes 22mph on pas 1 and 38mph full throttle or pas 5. Yes you can adjust your pas power inside KT lcd8h setting to your liking, but that is personal preference you have to do it yourself. I don’t experiment that far. I got the settings I want and I am set. My current setting is the one on this video. No change. Thanks for watching.
I think people took a chance getting the Kepler and not really knowing the long term durability .. Luckily the Kepler turned out for me to be a great purchase. Ariel Rider has been around a bit.. This company in not sure yet what you can expect from them. A bit unknown still. Not sure the extra 3-5 mph is worth the chance. It seems ok though. We can see what they come up with and how people are liking the first few batches.. Maybe they can make some changes here and there and still keep a lower price and the same power. 👍
You are missing the boat bud, I can say this, if i want to buy a new ebike right now i would get Wicked. It is a better bike. Unless AR or other brands come out with similar or better specs and better service and delivery and price which is very difficult. Wicked is a better bike for $2k and less.
@@MrMtr999 I will probably buy a 250cc dual sport bike for $2,000 delivered. Some assembly required. 😂 A few nice 250 on and off road type bikes out there for $2,000 . Just need to go register and plate it.

How much does the set up cost to turn this into a dual battery E bike? What will i need? I was gonna get the Kepler or the Wallkie H6 dual battery 48v (2,020$), But this Wicked bike beats them all. Im probably ordering this instead of my 35 Ah dual battery 1,400 watt output motor folding bike. That bike goes 31 mph throttle only, This bike goes 38 mph on throttle only. Insane.
Walkie H6 costs $2500?? For 48v 750 w? Not me bro. Wow.. You need at least $500-550 ish to do 40 ah 60v on the Wicked. That is my next or following videos. If you ride aggressively like 30 mph or more consistently you need at least 2 battery setup for sure. If you ride in the 20-25 mph mostly single battery that comes with it is okay, it has good range . I will put videos up when i get it done within weeks or months. Thanks for watching and commenting.
@@MrMtr999 H6 is now 2,020$. I am mostly concerned about battery life cause i need to cover about 35 to 40 miles to work and back each day. H6 is slower at 80 nm torque but the back rack has a 130 lb payload and it still reaches the speeds we usually travel. Up to 35 mph with pedalling full speed. Damn it i really like the 20 inch tires and the green color and frame with the back seat. Now you showed me this motorcycle of an e bike for 2,000$. I have to get it.
But man seeing the power on the wicked bike now i feel like i have to get it and i will have to ride at 25 mph to work and back until i get the second battery later on.
@@CONSCIOUS_TALK_ENT. $2020 ? That is a somewhat good price for 2 batteries but you are not going to go over 30-31 mph with a 48v system without pedaling like tour de france contest. You will need 2 battery setup for sure with 40 miles commute that goes above 30 mph. With Wicked it will cost more than $2020 for sure by the time you done setup. But if you can accept pas1 about 22 mph top speed pedaling with Wicked, you don’t need 2nd battery, single battery will go about 60 miles and more with just pas1 @22 mph pedaling and little throttle. Also Wicked is still an Ebike it is not an E Motorcycle yet., it is not as fast as Onyx or Sur Ron or the likes, etc. The Wicked weight is 78 lbs that is still ebike but if you want to go above 30 mph full throttle only no pedaling, you need to get Onyx or others and look into registration and moped/motorcycle laws that apply cause you won’t be able to ride those on sidewalks or trails without getting spotted. And the cost of big battery for those bikes are astronomical, it is very different territory. Hope this help. Good Luck 👍
Hi Mr Mtr. I hope you're well. Thank you for your video reviews; your reviews have been very helpful and informative. I am exploring getting a third (and final) e-bike; it was a toss between the Ariel Rider Kepler and the Wicked Freedom; I am heavily leaning on the Freedom. Couple of questions regarding the Wicked bike: 1) Is the rear brake, the right handle or left? 2) Is the throttle power on demand, with no pedaling, is this limited based on the PAS level (i.e. at PAS 0 throttle power is 0 mph, PAS 1 throttle power is 15 mph etc.). Thanks again for sharing your knowledge; best regards, Kevin
@Kevin Mah to answer your questions 1. Rear brake is on the right lever 2. Throttle is independent of the pas system, any time you twist it takes off according to power that you set inside the setting, c5 I believe. Pas 1 is topping 22 mph Either bike is great, but if I buy an ebike I would get Wicked both models. If you have more questions on Wicked, give them a call, I heard the owner is inclined to help you more than any other company. I never call them cause I don’t have issues. Kepler is great too but it does not have support like Wicked and you rely more on social media to teach you. To be honest , all e-bikes require you to be DIY person, especially changing tire and tube on the rear wheel, sooner or later you will have the problem like everybody else . Good luck and thank you for watching and commenting 😊
Thx@@MrMtr999 for this; good to know on both questions. re: the throttle is controlled by the PAS level. I have an Cyrusher XF800, the controller is an KT-LCD3, I did a comparison on the P and C configuration settings, and I believe the config sets are equivalent to the Wicked's KT-LCD8H, the only difference between these I believe is the LCD3 is black/white, the LCD8H is color. The Cyrusher's throttle speed limit was also controlled at the PAS level. C4 - Throttle Function Setting, defaults on the Cyrusher/Wicked are recommended for 0, 0 has the controller having the throttle speed based on the PAS which I believe both Cyrusher/Wicked has C4 set for 0 due to safety. On the Cyrusher, I changed C4 setting to 3, tested this and the XF800 now throttles at full speed on demand no matter the PAS level (e.g. at PAS 0 on throttle power only, the XF800 accelerated to full speed to over 32+ mph). I suspect changing C4 to 3 will also work on the Wicked bikes' LCD8H.

Any chance you can do a steep hill climb comparison of the Wired and Kepler?
Thanks for watching, unfortunately, there are no such steep hills here in central florida, especially Orlando, our focus is more on riding safely and effectively under rainstorm and monsoon winds. I can tell you that both bikes can ride in rain medium rain provided you put on some plastic covers around throttle , brake area. You have to ask some folks who live in Pittsburg or San Francisco, there hills everywhere there. Thank you for watching.
I have an odd request. Can you measure the display glass size?
Ton of people have done it add 2nd battery. Good luck all the best. Thanks for commenting and watching 👍

Yes it is true you can pedal up to said speed without ghost pedaling.

My guess tektro E10.11 or off-brand in that nature. No need now so never look but that is my guess.

I would say 30 miles or more for a single battery. But with pas1 definitely will go 60 miles @ 17-20 mph

Kepler has excellent rear rack to put your large bag on but it won’t ship same week like Wicked. Can you change how much power each PAS level get? Kepler is default to PAS 1 = 50% max set speed which is still way too fast.
It sold as class 2 top 20 mph, and pas1 is about 11 mph, once you unlock it goes 22mph on pas 1 and 38mph full throttle or pas 5. So this bike is better than the aventure 2?
I can not give answer on that cause i never own Adventurer 2. But from the specs they put out, i think i pass. Good luck and thanks for watching!
I think people took a chance getting the Kepler and not really knowing the long term durability .. Luckily the Kepler turned out for me to be a
great purchase.

@Kevin Mah to answer your questions
1. Rear brake is on the right lever
2. Throttle is independent of the pas system, any time you twist it takes off according to power that you set inside the setting, c5 I believe. Pas 1 is topping 22 mph
Either bike is great, but if I buy an ebike I would get Wicked both models.
