Come on Brown, do the world a favor and get a GoPro and record as many stories as you can get your grandma to tell. Get the family to pitch in and help. That way she can outlive you all. Her memories will be an immortal monument her family can always be proud of.
Sir, I really enjoy your historical and biographical commentaries! I would rather watch programs of this quality than the new stuff on netflix. Thanks again Mr Skinner
This was very well done. I lived in Fort Smith 20 years ago and I just loved that little town. My children and I used to have pick nick lunches on the grounds of the court house. Our time there was most memorable as the whole town is steeped in history from The Judge's bench time there. A beautiful town and wonderful people. Thank you for taking me back. I could listen to you all day. Blessings
Jerry, i love these stories and history of the old west!! You do such a fabulous job telling the history! I'm watching these pictures while you're telling the history, and I'm putting myself back in that time! I honestly wish i grew up in that time period. The way that you tell the story is a beautiful thing!!
Hi Jerry, I came 27 years ago to America from Europe. I have learned more in your nicely made and unbiased videos about American history, general points of interest and Hollywood, than anywhere else. Keep up the great work!
Wonderful story mr.jerry. I love all your videos and love the way you put these people's lives in order. Your a great narrator. Thank you for a great story. Bless you sir. 😊😇😇
Interesting note about deputy Bass Reeves. He couldn't read. Every time he got a new warrant, he had someone read it to him, memorized it and then executed the warrant. He always got the right guy.
Once again Jerry, you did not disappoint! You did a beautiful job wrapping up all these stories into one. I look forward to your posts, I believe you are the best at getting your stories straight and not embellishing them. Keep it up, I really enjoy them and I know others do too!
You've truly excelled yourself with this one, Jerry! This video might be your finest work. I could watch this a dozen times! Thank you, sir for all your hard work. Much love from the UK.
Jerry, TY sooo much for your amazing work. I enjoy it, and my Daddy did too. He really loved your stories, and it made the last season of his life blessed. He was in his late 70s before he discovered the amazing internet, youtube, and your films. He passed this past Sept, but truly appreciated all you do. It's a real blessing. I'm a social studies teacher and have a passion for history. Thanks again!😁
Thank you so much opinionatedmama. I am very glad your daddy got to watch some of them. I think he must have enjoyed the same things i do. I am sure we would have been friends. Thank you again. Jerry
Outstanding job Jerry, very informative and explained at a nice even pace. My friend, you should be producing documentaries for the History and Discovery Channels. Looking forward to your next video. Wishing you all the best my friend,be safe.
Mr. Skinner, I always enjoy your videos. I've always loved history, I appreciate all the time and research you've obviously put into this documentary. Thank you Sir
My dad took me there one time while we were staying at my great grandmas up in the mountains quite a ways away from Ft. Smith. He also took me to Miss Laura's brothel museum. I loved my dad.
Mr.Jerry, this is one of your best! :-) The guitar music is so fitting. My maternal grandfather's mother was Cherokee and I worked in Lawton, Oklahoma. You truly should be narrating for The History Channel and for Old West Programs. Your voice is very soothing. :-)
Truly enjoy your documented research. I could sit for hours listening. Looking forward to more of your Historic Accounts. Your topics should be part of American History taught in High Schools. Thank you for digging up these bits of history.
What a pleasure your videos are! Not only does the editing, source material and background music always fit very well, but I feel your "natural" way of presenting the stories is the greatest charm. (subscribed)
I’ve been searching for old history channels about Isaac I grew up in fort smith in the 90s and we always got to visit the historical site and trail of tears(I’m part Cherokee) my grandfather actually played in a lot of history shows and events and was actually in a show about judge Isaac. Brings back memories, I remember they used to have the ropes for the gallows but some idiot kid thought it was be a nice photo and died.
WOW - I live in OKC - I had a friend (now deceased) who was Cherokee - he was a stand up guy - we were involved in many escapades - he never flinched or quavered.
My grandma is from little rock and she's black. Her stories are the best!
Come on Brown, do the world a favor and get a GoPro and record as many stories as you can get your grandma to tell. Get the family to pitch in and help. That way she can outlive you all. Her memories will be an immortal monument her family can always be proud of.
