I was SO mesmerized by the piano music I had to put headphones on & close my eyes (so I've played your video a few times & had to silence it to see your beautiful instructions)! Go Not Gently
Thank you! I want to start with these small snowflakes! I have very little experience, from a child taught by an aunt. I don't remember much. I don't understand the lingo. How best can I learn to understand the pattern instructions?
In the video, I used Patons Grace light weight #3 cotton yarn and crochet hook 1/2.75 mm. For the tutorial on my blog, I used cotton thread size 20 and hook size 9/1.25 mm, the size of this crochet snowflake is only about 1” (2 -1/2 cm) in diameter. The tutorial can be found here: www.goldenlucycrafts.com/crochet-snowflake-small/
Ch 1 is not a part of the magic circle. When you make a magic circle, you start by making a large loop and then draw the yarn through the loop. This doesn’t count as a chain 1.
In the video, I used lightweight #3 cotton yarn and a 2.75 mm crochet hook. However, the size of your hook will depend on the yarn or thread you're using. If you want your snowflakes to be very small, you'll need to use size 20 cotton thread and a 1.25 mm hook.
Beautiful snowflake ❄️ beautiful music 🎶 thank you 😊

Is the Chain 1 of Round 1 part of the Magic Circle, or in addition to the Ch 1 I learned as part of the Magic Circle? Thanks
