Elle Purrier continues her tear in 2021 as she used her kick to win the Trials of Miles Texas Qualifier women's 5,000m in 15:08.61. Dark Sky Distance's Weini Kelati notched a personal best of 15:13.12 for second place and just missed the Olympic qualifying time of 15:10.00. Major kudos to Josette Norris, who ran 15:19.31 for third place and qualified for the U.S. Olympic Trials.
