After looking at the Olympic schedule, I think she's going to drop out of the 5k (assuming she makes the 1500 team, which I think she will). The 5k finals are the night before the 1500 heats.
Good then parker can go.
@@4Dangert Parker took 4th, Elle is much more fit than Parker--there is no chance Parker can compete better on the world stage than Elle. To hope that one of the best women runners in the world not compete so a lesser runner can represent the US makes no sense to me...
Are we looking at different schedules? I see 1500 SEMI’s, 2 days after 5000 final, then 2 days after that the 1500 final. I’ve heard they were back to back days before as well though so I’m confused.
