- I'm still completely blown away that I was given the opportunity to shoot and drive the Nissan GTR 50 by Italdesign! As a GTR fan I hope this is a nod to the future GTR that will be made available to the general public. Nissan/Italdesign are only producing 50 of these handmade GTR's and the price will be far north of $1 million. As Neil from Nissan says in the episode, "$1 million gets you in the conversation."

I love to hear that you are a fan of the GTR I am also that's great I used to own the GTRs little brother the 1995 240sx and I loved it it was a little mover....
It’s very unique. But I’ll take a 720s and a 2012+ R35 for less than half!!!! Still a great video and I love GTR heritage. But atrocious. Not super or hyper car status. He says “turbos and injectors” and such and adds roughly 75-100hp? Uhhhh. Maybe alpha 9 or 10,11,12 would better suit the rarity and some how steeeep expense.
Good comment. I’m curious to see how collectible it becomes based on low production and each one being unique to the owner/design choices made.

@@stevornrichards1380 A Porsche 918 is a hybrid, with electric only mode, that has the fastest 0-60 (in a production car) of all time. This is a tuned GT-R Nissan made in attempt to revive their dying company.

The normal Nismo one is running at that price. I think they are a bit expensive. You can get nice Porches for that money Gt3 RS.

the car definitely looks longer... the front and rear bumpers have definitely been extended.. kinda what Porsche did with the 959... they just added the longer bumpers

Nissan's CEO already said that there is another generation of GTR coming out and it'll be redesigned and it will also be the "fastest Supercar in the world". Give it two years.

Swap the golden parts by carbon fiber or by a cool color like a deep dark purple and you have a nice looking car. Like this is very debatable,.

Like the mclaren the color is for showcase/celebration. In other colors itll blend more and look like one. I reallly love the front end.

This new design is really controversial. I’m a GTR fan and it took me a while to like it but I do. Still waiting to see it in an attractive color combo.

The R34 nowadays is about 1mil. So this car for about 1-1.5mil is a bargain! I like the styling, no infotainment system, pure drivers car. You can use ur phone nowadays for the infotainment.
I was just about to say it looks like a modern day kit from knight rider but then I seen that horrid gold bit on the back.
People don't understand this car at all. This is not meant to compete with anything. It's a statement and a piece of art, and not a product. I agree that the price is not rational, but this car isn't meant to be rational. If you want something rational then there is the normal GT-R r35.

I love love love the gtr, that said, for ONE MILLION PLUS USD, I'd rather get a ferrari 458, a lambo huracan, a 2018 gtr and a house in Los Angeles AND still have money to pay my property taxes on the house. It just doesn't justify the cost, I mean ITS A FUCKING NISSAN!
I get your opinion. A lot of $$ for sure. Check your pricing though...doubtful you’re buying all of those cars and a house in LA for that money. And I agree, it’s a lot of money. Time will tell how collectible this car is. McLaren F1 was around $700K brand new....now it’s a $15 million car.

im a uuuuge GTR fan and im guessing this will sell bc there will only b 50 and of course history of brand, high end collectors will purchase but there are 12 other vehicles minimum, id purchase if my price point were a million dollars plus... and honestly with a million plus id purcharse every gtr ever made...

I am happy with my Nismo, this one is rare but over 1M? Inside looks like my Nismo, well, it's more into design and 110hp more, driving, I don't think its 5x better than the Nismo. So for the price? Noooo Way.. its 5 times better.

Technology if obviously more advance but I think the R34 is a tough design to ever beat. Such a perfect design.
But it has the signature rear lights of the r34
The price is for how rare it will be. 50 cars are nothing lol. As nice as it is, I would still take a Bugatti, Lambo, 720S if I’m paying 1 million. And Lambo or 720s are less than half the price. It’s a beautiful car though.

As the bad things happen they put the skyline name down but its still a skyline cause of the rear lights signature and the worse is they made the grilles horrible the 2017 GTR is better than this anniversary edition the face looks like an catfish just like the producer said a catfish im a skyline fan by the way but i like this car anyway they just have to change the grilles

It’s a 2018 Nismo GTR...pretty sure you could do a serious tune, exhaust and a few other minor tweaks and have massive power.
I’ll take a new 911 gt3 RS for fun and a Taycan for business and pocket the other half million
