Well… you don’t about France then. Noël Le Graet former president was into dirty stuff himself, he also protected some pedos that harrassed players in younger and women categories. He finally was sacked for… saying that he don’t need Zidane as France head coach… yeah french are stupid. Right after that, he was offered a job at FIFA 😅, while being 81 years old… No wonder why France was helped that much by referees in the last World cups and qualifying or had shifty draws to say the least… While Rubiales is getting suspended by FIFA directly because Emilio Garcia (legal director at FIFA) is a BIG rival of him and they hate each other… all that is just politic, we live in a corrupted World. Nobody really cares about that kiss or anything, it’s just about conflicts of interest. All I said is purely facts btw, easily checkable on the web from reliable sources. I personally used french investigation journalist Romain Molina work.
@@Micfri300shiet well just imagine dude being gay and kissing you instead. On the mouth. After you won the most important game in your life, literally the world cup victory lmao
From Tebas’ handling of the racist abuse of Vinicius, to the Vilda issue before the World Cup and now this. The Spanish football federation clearly love making terrible decisions
And you know what's worse? He has supporters outside of Spain, like Karl-Heinz Rummenigge from FC Bayern. Former Germany goalie Katja Kraus called out Rummenigge because he basically vouched for Rubiales' character.
This is as slam dunk as any sexual harassment case will ever be. This isn't the Spanish judicial system and football trying Rubiales, they themselves are on trial if nothing happens to him.
@bennypa1n How is it enjoying it? If I call something a slam dunk case of murder, it doesn't at all mean that I enjoyed a person's death. Hope this was a misunderstanding.
She filmed herself in the locker room after it saying she consented it but she still liked women, while laughing with her team mates...so its a slam dunk that she lied
I genuinely love how insane this whole thing spiralled, you have to wonder how much dirt this man on the Spanish FA considering how much they defended him.
It keeps getting worse, there are now leaked videos of the whole team joking about the kiss on the team bus afterwards with the girl who was kissed laughing and joking. Rubiales also entered the bus where all of the women began chanting kiss in Spanish and all seemed to be having a good time. I think this is why they seem to be fighting so hard to keep him in his position
It is such a shame. A wonderful and successful women's world cup that has helped boost the popularity and image of women's football not just in Australia, but also in other countries...has now been marred by this grotesque act. Spain's triumph in the face of internal issues, now hurt by their own football federation again. The Spanish F.A has now made FIFA look morally superior...that should be disgraceful and embarrassing for them. Thank you for covering this with respect Zealand.
I think the sad thing is, is that if he'd just come out straight away and apologised, said he got carried away in the moment, he shouldn't have done it then I doubt he would have even needed to resign. The doubling down about it and the clear lying about it has made it much much worse.
But why does he have to apologise for something we all know?! Spain men's national team has won two euros and one world cup already, kisses were being thrown all around and they were men! Nobody batted an eye! Now this guy kisses a girl in a euforic moment and she lets it go, only for the whole world to become furious! Nobody cares about the World Cup because of this, that's because of this shenanigans that 80% of the footbaling world don't take women's football serious!

Well at least it gave them ANY publicity... in UK it was being promoted super hard everywhere with seemingly no effect at all, and this country is obsessed with football. Seems like this situation made people at least realise the finals even happened
I'm honestly surprised by all the people apparently being fine with their mothers, sisters or daughters being grabbed by the head and kissed by a superior 13 years older than them on worldwide television. Otherwise those people would want there to be consequences. What the hell guys?
Well to play devils advocate she seemed fine with it during the livestream in the changing room afterwards, even laughing about it with her teammates when they asked her about it. It seems more like a political thing regarding his other controversies, including corruption, that they are now using this to get him out and have her on board.
Have you watched the whole video? It’s really nothing. Huge hugs from both. She even lifts him up in celebration. The kiss is done in a “yaaaas” very quick way. Like a chest bump. It’s almost macho sports posturing. The idea that he held her head and kissed her sexually is completely contradicted by the video. This has happened between men after achieving such a momentous thing in their lives and careers. Rubiales is being thrown under the bus as he’s unpopular with many in Spain. And he is an asshole. But this is a huge overreaction.
Also before the press conference, in Rubiales “apology video” he said that he didn’t think he made anything wrong and was apologizing simply because of the public buzz that had been generated and that the incident didn’t have that much importance
You watched the full thing and were speechless? Really? It’s a nothing burger. It’s the fact that rubiales is so unpopular with many people in Spain that this has been blown up to highlight what is very real sexism in Spanish football, something they are struggling with, but the “kiss” was a nothing burger that’s been pounced upon.
@@daviebananas1735 Nothing burger ? A man in a position of power decides to force himself on a woman. That man is then protected by a national organisation, who has already been criticized byt the female players, that starts threathening the woman and it's a nothing burger ?
To people commenting it wasn't sexual or it's an overreaction is kind of missing the point, putting it into context it's not just a witch hunt because a guy kissed a woman, the fact people think it would be okay if it was the other way around is a total lack of logic.. It wouldn't but anyway back to the point, imagine your wife/daughter/sister ect was working for a company that had an amazing year, they had a office party to celebrate, and the boss hugs everyone, maybe kisses a couple people on the cheek ( kind of more morally acceptable thing to do) but when it comes to the person you know he hugs her and just grabs her head and kisses her on the lips, without warning.. It's literally no different because they won a football tournament, doesn't matter if it's a man kissing a woman, a woman kissing a man, man kissing a man or a woman kissing a woman, you just don't have the right to kiss someone randomly because you're happy.. Anyway not trying to upset anyone, great videos as always Zealand loving the branching out into football history/news!
@@LocalNoob_2 Bad take. Sexual assault is any unwanted sexual attention, touch or act that is forced upon you without consent. Touching, fondling, or kissing without consent IS sexual assault. The key word there is consent. There's a reason he's out there in the headlines claiming there was consent when clearly there was not.
@@LocalNoob_2 Since the offence took place in NSW, let's see what their police force's website has to say about it. It also includes oral sex. In NSW Criminal Law, the term rape is no longer used and has been replaced by the term sexual intercourse without consent. Sexual Touching which describes unwanted touching of a person's body by another person. THIS CAN INCLUDE KISSING or inappropriate touching of a person's breasts, bottom or genitals." portal.police.nsw.gov.au/adultsexualassault/s/whatissexualassault
Personally i dont like Rubiales after what happened to Vini jr, and this does not help his image. The kiss was incredibly inappropriate. But in the newest videos of the team buss and during the celebrations, the players including Hermoso are making fun of the situation laughing about it and there is even an instance were Rubiales walks by inside the players buss and the girls all start chanting " kiss, Kiss, Kiss" laughingly. There it didnt seem like such a big deal . Anyways fuck Rubiales.
Nothing says "consent" like the person "consenting" saying they didn't consent, then you trying to get them to lie and say you did consent and threaten them with legal action for saying otherwise...
Greetings from Russia! These issues are bigger in our country than in Europe, I think (I heard a creepy story from every girl / woman I know well enough to even speak about such things). Not so long ago, I discussed with a 17-year-old girl how her teacher - a man we both know - hugged her without consent some 3 or 4 years ago. I am not a tactile person myself, so this was _very_ creepy to listen to. I just can't imagine what should be in the mind of such people who think this is OK. For me, it's one thing to hug with a friend (like a teammate) and another - to do _anything_ involving touching a person you don't know, never mind hugging or kissing. And speaking of this particular case: hugging in jubilation and kissing in the lips are two very different things. Again, the problem is not the act in isolation, but the fact that it was not consensual.
You would be surprised. Maybe extremely serious cases of assault happen more in your country but here in switzerland where crime rates are low all my female friends have stories of creeps and being harrassed. It's actually insane, multiple friends of mine were followed home, harrassed by adults when they were underage and teachers were inappropriate with them. The lack of respect and basic human decency is prevalent everywhere I'm afraid.
As a Spanish citizen, this is both sickening and representative of a much larger cultural problem - including the machismo attitude that devalues women and the institutional structures that are designed to protect themselves and benefit the insiders. From the highs of winning 2010 with the men's team and our women's team today until that horrible public act. I am ashamed and unfortunately not surprised by doubling down on a loser.
Bro, it's just a kiss, chill my brother...this is just some more feminist bullshit wanting to make a big deal out of everything. Yes, the guy was wrong but they are trying to use this to push a feminist agenda.
@@Geo-nw9ug I'm pretty sure Franco is rotting in hell for what he and others associated with him did in Guernica. There's a reason Basques celebrated his death.
This has become such a clusterfuck, when in reality it should be an open and shut case. I can't think of an argument to defend this creep, the evidence is out there for everyone to see, I have no idea what is going on at the Spanish federation for them to not only defend this guy, but also the lengths they are willing to go to do so. All I can think of is that there might be a lot of corruption going on in there for them to cling this hard to this guy. It's like watching Lex Luthor be in charge of Spanish football.
He has a lot of friends in the Spanish Federation, that’s why they’re defending him. He has a lot of influence. Also people are defending him, just look at comments on videos about the topic. 90 percent people calling him a creep. 10 percent incels and femcels defending him and blaming the victim.
It gets even worse when you see how uncomfortable the rest of the team were when he was congratulating them too - every player got a kiss and a hug that lasted just a little too long to be ok
Everyone who thinks it's ok, should try this little experiment. Go outside and kiss a stranger on the mouth. See how that goes. I'm betting they'd get a black eye, at the least, and possibly jail time
Bro, I just subbed to you like 6 days ago because of your video about Ange Postecoglou. It was really well made and I then watched many others. Seeing you wear a vintage shirt of my club FC Porto really made me happy. Props to you, Zealand. Good taste :D
I think that most people don't realise that this is just the tip of the iceberg. The Spanish FA and the Spanish women's team coach have done some crazy things in the past already. For example: Women's players were not allowed to lock their hoteldoors before midnight. Can you imagine how insanely creepy that is. And their were also issues with the training schedule and injury treatments. Basically the whole squad lost confidence in the Coach to the point they were refusing to play with him as their coach. Normally that is the point when the national FA fires the coach but instead the RFEF defended him... The start of the World Cup kind of saved him since most players couldn't resist the chance of playing in a World Cup tournament (totally understandable). And now the Spanish FA president has done this... It's a completely fucked up FA and it needs some wiping out before it can be calm again.
Luis Rubiales should learn that the stars are the footballers. Managers are at best extras. He also has to learn to stay in his corner quietly and wear a mask and tin underwear so he can not bother anyone anymore.
The whole Thing also reached Germany in the Form of a Statement by FC Bayerns Rummenigge teaming Up with rubiales... The Fans of my Club also reacted because of His Statement... Fist instead of a kiss etc
Ah Rummenigge, such a great player, but such a fucking idiot to, i still remember when he told Kroos to basically fuck off because he “didn’t see him as a world class player” insane
I remember at one point while he was trying to defend himself, Rubiales just ended up making himself look more disgusting. He said something like "I'd kiss my daughter like this any day." Such a shameful end to what was an incredible world cup.
must say, Z- the quality of your videos are outstanding, regardless of topic. you are either a rhetorical savant or a adept student of the craft. love your work (but still not enough to patreon, apparently)
The fact that there’s people legitimately defending him and saying “if she didn’t want it, she should’ve backed away” is absolutely disgusting. It’s also disgusting that those same people are saying the same tired "if the roles were reversed" excuse and that this is “woke feminism trying to destroy a man’s career” when it’s literally not a problem of gender inequality. Not only that but there’s also people saying that this shouldn’t overshadow their win and she should’ve remained silent and celebrated the win and THEN came out with this. As a man and a human being it’s absolutely appalling to see stuff like this happen to women and men try their hardest to sweep it under a rug. This world has forgotten the meaning of human decency smfh
There are videos of the player confirming that she did consent and showing how the entire team and the player took it as a joke. It was just after the media (including you), saw what happened that lies about the situation started to be told. Look at the evidence before advocating for a man to lose his job and honor.
I hope they force players to play for Spain, because I want to watch Spanish players kick the ball into their own net for two straight hours, flipping the bird to the camera with every own goal.
So many ways to celebrate, a hug, a peek on the cheek, or a simple pat on the shoulder and a thank you.... but he chooses "that" lol it is not normal for anyone to do that except their drunk and in a night club....

@@DresdenShuffle I’m not an incel. I’ve watched the video and discussed it with numerous men and women and no-one who sees the video thinks it’s anything other than a celebratory kiss. In the vein of the hug. Or being picked up. Or a chest bump. Was the hug consensual? They both committed fully to a big hug. I’d argue a deep hug is a more sexual and intimate act than a quick peck on the lips, although it’s absurd to call either sexual in reality. The way you’d kiss your grandmother. Less than that even. Their lips touch for about 0.001 seconds. I’m not defending the man. By all accounts he’s a dick. I’m just saying that this is nothing. It’s being used as an excuse to oust an unpopular figure. I doubt the same outcry would have happened if a popular figure did exactly the same. Say it was Xavi or Pep Guardiola. And I’ve been kissed on the lips by many men and women in a non sexual way. Have you seen men celebrating ANYTHING? Look up footballers kissing each other. It’s very common. Even Gary Neville is famous for kissing Paul Scholes in celebration. People sharing kisses and hugs after winning world cups or other monumental things is a common thing. It has been unnecessarily sexualised here, despite it being the least sexual kiss I’ve seen in years. I worry about kissing my aunties in front of you people. I’ll end up in jail for a quick peck. It’s like when everyone online called David Beckham a paedophile for kissing his own young daughter.
@@BoliveiraNTPW Was the hug OK? Was the hug sexual? Was the hug consensual? It lasted much longer and is much more intimate. I see no issues with it. Spontaneous actions like this are what happens in huge celebrations. Human contact in hugging etc in celebration is nothing to concern ourselves about. A peck on the lips is the same. It’s happened at many football games. I’ve never even heard anyone questioning it, except rampant homophobes before. I’ve certainly never seen it being called sexual assault. Is Barthez going to claim Blanc assaulted him? Is Scholes going to call for Neville to resign? I actually think the way they he picked up another player over his shoulder much later in the celebrations is a FAR greater infraction and indeed I’d see no issue with calling on him to resign for that. Picking people up and carrying them around is just strange behaviour and is completely atypical of celebratory behaviour.
The situation definitely gave me both a confidence boost and made me question the world for how weird everyone else is. Seriously apparently its normal for some people to think its normal to kiss random people, you see like 4 times a year, on the mouth in celebration. Especially the guy randomly u-turning and now saying that it was "consentual and euphoric" while the vids clearly show that Hermoso was more confused than anything, because she literally just ran up and down a football pitch for 90 mins. Also absolutely wild, that the federation sided WITH THE PRESIDENT. I could understand them wanting to be neutral as its something legal ongoing, but they sided with the accuser, while its literally ongoing. I am not a football official, but even I could have handled this better XD Whatever you think about the situation, based on his reaction Rubiales seems like the most annoying guy. He was literally a professional football player and even got to the presidency of one of the biggest football federations in the world and now THAT GUY tells others he is oppressed and people attack him. The amount of comments under this video supporting the FA president is absolutely ridiculous. Same thing under the Ludwig and Critikal's videos. It's horrific to see man.
Y'all are drawing into conclusion too soon. You should wait until evidence of both sides are released. Just like a video that was released today that was filmed in the bus.
this makes me curious how much dirty laundry Rubiales has on the heads of the Federation. Surely they aren't doing this out of stupidity, there has to be more to this.
If it's non consensual I'm totally against it ofc, but we latins and iberics do this quite commonly in known circles ofc and it's just a peck. But you should check the new videos, both after the incident, one in the changing room with Hermoso and Rubiales joking around about a wedding in Ibiza, and both very happy, and one in the bus back with all the team rewatching the scenes including Hermoso, laughing and joking about it comparing it with the kiss between Casillas and her gf at the time who was a reporter. And in a single moment I saw Hermoso shocked, disgusted, angry, sad or whatever emotionshe can feel about what happened. Dunno, the more videos after the kiss I see, the more convinced I am that this is all a set up. Also they started again with the women need to earn the same as men campaign.
Also worthy to note how little men’s players have come out with clear vocal support for the women’s team yet these same dudes like Depay had essays to write in support of Mendy, says a lot about the true character of some of these footballers
lets be real 99% of men footballers arent watching womens football and are in the middle of playing important matches for club to give 2 fucks about this
How hard is it to not fucking do this creepy shit and just congratulate or just give the women a hug if you are that excited about it. I just dont get how or why would anyone fucking do that.
I'm a woman, and I'm 27 years old now. As a kid/teenager, my biggest dream was to become a professional football player. I was good, won some local titles and individual prizes like "best goalkeeper" twice, "most cleansheets" twice, "least goals conceded" three times, "best player" once, etc. But there were no women's teams around, despite me being born in the country of football, Brazil, so most of my life I was playing for male teams. I would leave and come back every few months; the levels of violence I had to endure was just too much for even an adult to bear, let alone a child. But then my absolute love for the game would speak louder and I would come back eventually. Finally, violence won, when I was 15 years old, and I left football for good. It has been 12 years since the last time I played football for a team and 10 years since I played it at all, and every now and then, I catch myself thinking about some of my achievements, like that time when I was playing for an underdog team that everyone expected to come last, but I conceded only a single goal in 5 matches and guided my team to the title at 11; all of my teammates and even people from other teams or who were just following the tournament were saying I was the future keeper of the Canarinhas. Or that tournament I played at 13 when, again, playing for the underdogs, I went 9 matches without conceding a goal and got my team in the semifinals, where I finally conceded and my team was beaten 2-1; and then I wonder if things could've been any different if didn't have to deal with this much mental, physical and sexual violence, from teammates, coaches, rivals and even people who were not even involved with the team. Maybe on a bigger stage I wouldn't be able to be as good as I was in the local tournaments I played, but I never even got to try, since the "country of football" isn't really the country of football, but rather, the "country of men, and THEN the country of football". Influenced by me, my sister also gave football a shot when we were kids, but she never loved the sport like I did, so she gave up really quickly. I think she didn't last even a year. I remember always trying to get her to play with me, so we could play together and I could have a few more girls with me on the field, but she simply wasn't interested anymore. No wonder. I remember caughting guys harassing her red-handed close to where I played when she came with me. A lot of the time, guys a lot older than us. I've always been very tall and "large" (broad shoulders and strong-looking physique), my sister wasn't as physically imposing as me, so when my mother heard about this, she started to instruct me on how to protect her ("always stay close, do this or that, here's my number, here's the police number, I have this friend who works close so if anything happens, run there with your sis", etc) and my father, a judo black belt, taught me some locks and throws, which I did have to use a few times. I became very overprotective of her for a time. I'm 100% certain that there are many women around with lifestories similar to mine, people who would have been great athletes but where cursed to love a game that is still so profoundly sexist. And I wonder how much more I would've gone through if it wasn't for me being so tall and physically imposing. How much worse it is for girls that are 20cm shorter and 30kg lighter than me. Let me tell you, this Jenni Hermoso case is just the very tip of the iceberg, and it shows how comfortable men (especially in football) are when it comes to harassing us.
Saddened to hear your story. Some corners of this globe are still prehistoric. Its time for a global gov. & law . atleast for countries being run by idiots.
Shouldn't be surprised the incel brigade is here trying to turn any small positive action after an assault into proof of consent, but welcome to the world.
if Hermoso is lying like they claim she is, why go completely over the top to prove Rubiales' innocence? If he was innocent then the investigation would prove that but doubling down is not a good look
Yo Zealand, could you do a video about the DFB? They are doing so much things wrong, so I'm almost thinking that I could do it better than the most of them. International Team performances, the Bundesliga. Everything is messed up. The Bundesliga does seem all good, but if you go down the rabbit hole, there are many things that just dont make sense. TV Moneys, 50+1 (it does not work) and the matchday fixes, because some teams like RB Leipzig have no fans and get put on a saturday 15:30 Conferece (many Matches at once) spot, while other teams like Schalke (Last season) with big fanbases get put on a (we say Top Spiel) Top Game Spot like Friday 20:30. The Problem is that Schalke still did not get more TV Money than RB Leipzig: RB Leipzig almost doubled the amount Schalke made last year. Please do a video about it, would mean the world to me.
What you wrote makes no sense at all. Should Germany get more money for getting knocked out in a group stage at the world cup than Croatia who manage to get to the finals because germany has more fans. Or should Barcelona get more money from the champions league than Manchester City despite being knocked out in the group stage. Because that is the logic that you are applying. Leipzig gets a lot of TV money because they consistently finish in the top 4 because they are working well at that club while Schalke 04 makes every player worse that plays for them. Why should clubs like Hamburg or Schalke be rewarded for playing like trash every year.
What are you even talking about? Schalke has done abysmal compared to leibzig, why should they get more tv money? Also leibzig regularly fills their stadium up 😂 sure schalke has a MUCH bigger fanbase domestically and globally, but they do way worse than leibzig, schalke are managed poorly which resulted in their relegation. The tv money completely makes sense 😂 if you perform better you get more money, and if you perform badly you get less, it’s simple. 50+1 does work, just look at teams like dortmund or Bayern, even union Berlin. Sure it makes it harder to compete with literal oil states and billionaires, but it keeps the club and fans connected. It gives the fans a voice. Removing it is like removing the soul in German football.
@@Stego1819 you didnt get my point: it is that the DFB isnt doing its job right: Player & Manager Performances like in the world cup or in the test matches dont matter. The Problem is that the DFB is 1: not Splitting Up the TV Money Up right. They are giving RB Leipzig more TV Money eventhough they achieve much less viewers than Schalke does. The table position or thier Performances in the Champions league should not matter to how much TV Money you gain. 2: If you have not heard of it, while germany has been performing especially bad internationally, alot of DFB chairmen said many different things like: "we shouldn't pressure our manager" or "we should fire him now". Even the Manager once said that one of the good performing players Niklas Süle is too fat to get picked. Everything there ist very unprofessional and that is my problem. 3: they have a really good rule with 50+1 in the bundesliga, but how are there still teams like RB Leipzig, VfL Wolfsburg and TSG Hoffenheim, that dont (or didnt in the past) generate natural footballing Money from performances and gained it from massive finance injections like RB Leipzig. Hope you Unserstand it.
@@alexprodbeats Hoffenheim belongs to Hopp because he gave them money for more than 30 years! Wolfsburg and Leverkusen were created as clubs for workers at Volkswagen or Bayer respectively. They are traditional clubs just like Schalke or Dortmund are. And again why should Schalke just get more money because they have more fans. Only in spain does TV money get split that way. If fans would be the determining factor clubs like Union Berlin or SC Freiburg would never have a chance to stay in the Bundesliga regardless of how well they are working because you want clubs who cant get their act together to be rewarded and hard working clubs to be punished.
@@divingdown6173 the TV Money ist based on how much viewers you get during the season. RB Leipzig has one of the lowest Viewrate in the whole League. Also Leipzig does not fill Stadium a bit, have you watched one game of them in an average Bundesliga Game? The only reason the Stadium is not completely empty is because they sell bundle Packs where they give you the offer to watch a top Game Like Leipzig v Bayern and give you 2 other average Games too.
8:31 I lost it here 😂 had to pause the video I was laughing so much. I know it’s a serious topic but when FIFA are the good guys you know you’ve gone wrong lol😂
Lets not forget that Rubiales ALSO picked up Hermoso, very weirdly. You can find pictures online and he also said he will marry her in the locker room after doing a speech to the team
A question is: How can something be both spontaneous and done with consent? Spontaneous means something is done while not originally planned, while done with consent, essentially means it was, in a way, planned..
I can’t get on board with sexual assault considering her imidiate reaction as well as her reaction in that video in the locker room. HOWEVER. There is absolutely zero reason to kiss an employee on the mouth at any moment. All he had to do was say”I was wrong I got caught up in the moment and I deeply regret my behavior” and I genuinely believe he would have gotten away with it The reality is there’s way worse reasons for why he shouldn’t be president among them corruption and a fat ego
This scales really quickly, but is not just one side to blame. Yes he is a sulky machist, but she only got "offended" 1 week after all happened, when she got pressure from the "feminists" that play that video over and over in the news. Theres a video of the whole team joking (not offended at all) about the kiss comparing to Iker Casillas kiss in the World Cup.
Lmao this was so taken out of proportion, He kissed another person on a celebration, in plain sight, such creep... wasnt even a proper kiss, I bet all of the people witch hunting gave more romantic7sexual kisses to their grandmothers.
that kiss get more attention than the women football itself, i didn't even knew there was a women's world cup last month if i didn't heard about that kissing news 🤣
The thing is that rubiales does not understand where the issue lies: -He says that him and Jenny were friends from before and that he kisses his friends in moments of extreme happiness (?) and when he was hugging her he asked for permission -The issue is: why tf would the president of the FA do that in that stage? That alone is a big enough reason for him to resign and that is how everyone sees it. But he just sees the first issue and not the most obvious and non debatable one, which is the second one.
I wholly support both Jenni Hermoso and the women’s Spanish national team’s account of this, I think Rubiales will in the end be forced out, and rightly so. Would a woman who is the was the head of her football association kiss a man like that or even grab her crotch like he did?! No I don’t think so! KICK RUBIALES OUT OF the RFEF and out of football. I’m not surprised so many Spanish players (women and men) have said they’d no longer play for the Spanish national team unless he’s removed as President of the RFEF. This was supposed to be a time for celebration for the Spanish women’s team winning their first Women’s World Cup but Rubiales’ actions have totally tarnished that.
You don’t need to support anyone’s “account” of this. It’s fully on video. Most people show a still that makes it look much worse. When viewed in full celebratory context in the video. It’s nothing. It’s being used as a catalyst to address the very real sexism which is rampant in Spanish football and that will end up being a good thing, but he’s been thrown under the bus for this. I urge anyone to watch the full video of their interaction.

It's mirror of Spain's political environment. If someone thinks Spain won because of them, they're wrong;. These creeps are enjoying a harvest not planted by them and are also the reason why La Liga's level has been declining.
Zealand is missing a few steps here. Like, the night after the kiss Rubiales went on a radio interview saying that everybody talking about how everybody that was giving importance to the kiss was a *insert all the insults you can imagine*. Then, he tried to bully Jenni Hermoso into appearing with him in the "apology" he gave, and also he made the press department of the federation put out a fake statement of Jenni Hermoso where she supposedly said it was nothing and she didnt feel assaulted. We also have to consider that in the five years Rubiales has been president, there's been a lot of alleged stuff about how basically he tried to use the federation money for his own interests. Knowing this, we also need to consider that Spain is in a candidacy to get to organise 2030 World Cup. Imagine how much money could he get his hands on if that goes through, that's why he'll try to keep the seat at any cost. I'm leaving a lot to explain, because this is a lot and has been going on for a lot of time, but yeah.
OMG wearingmy club jersey and shiting on Spain for 15 minutes. I dont know if im dreaming or if Ive died and gone to heaven. Holding myself back not to kiss the screen right now...
I don't understand why the Spanish FA is being so stubborn and not letting him go. This man was already hated before the world cup and now he's completely ruin the Spanish FA image. What was the point of all of this defense of him
It isn't as easy to fire him, they have started the process but it takes time. The Spanish FA is not a public entity dependent on the government, it's a private one.
A nice aditional note, the day after the kiss the federation put out a statment where the player ws quoted saying the kiss was mutual and she had nothing but love for Rubiales. Turns out the federation couldnt get in touch with the player so they decided to make up the quote

I think the sad thing is, is that if he'd just come out straight away and apologised, said he got carried away in the moment, he shouldn't have done it then I doubt he would have even needed to resign. The doubling down about it and the clear lying about it has made it much much worse.

Here I thought the Italian FA was the worst in Europe
Luis Rubiales should learn that the stars are the footballers. Managers are at best extras. He also has to learn to stay in his corner quietly and wear a mask and tin underwear so he can not bother anyone anymore.

Rummenigge actually used the term "ABSOLUTELY OKAY" regarding what Rubiales did. "If you become World Champion you get emotional".

By the way, there’s another clip of this guy touching his genitals when spain scored, while sitting next to the queen
If it's non consensual I'm totally against it ofc, but we latins and iberics do this quite commonly in known circles ofc and it's just a peck.
Let me tell you, this Jenni Hermoso case is just the very tip of the iceberg, and it shows how comfortable men (especially in football) are when it comes to harassing us.
damn that's long
I know, I'm sorry... I'm just giving my "testimony" of what it is like to be a woman trying to play football@@solace.mp3
Saddened to hear your story. Some corners of this globe are still prehistoric.
Its time for a global gov. & law . atleast for countries being run by idiots.
thank you for covering this
Real good take Zealand. Disappointed with some of the inconsiderate comments under this video - we need to do better!
Incels who are sport fans? In other news, the sky is blue.
Did you not see the Spanish players laughing and joking about it in the bus? They are the ones who are in the wrong!
Shouldn't be surprised the incel brigade is here trying to turn any small positive action after an assault into proof of consent, but welcome to the world.
YWNBAW
That Porto shirt 💙 beautiful
if Hermoso is lying like they claim she is, why go completely over the top to prove Rubiales' innocence? If he was innocent then the investigation would prove that but doubling down is not a good look
Tbh if he didnt kiss her, nobody would notice that there was women’s wc
the fact that he double down and say didn't do it is bizarre to me
Yo Zealand, could you do a video about the DFB?
Gee, why don't women come forward?
The viciousness directed at Jenni is stunning.
A question is:
How can something be both spontaneous and done with consent?
Spontaneous means something is done while not originally planned, while done with consent, essentially means it was, in a way, planned..
I can’t get on board with sexual assault considering her imidiate reaction as well as her reaction in that video in the locker room.
HOWEVER. There is absolutely zero reason to kiss an employee on the mouth at any moment.
All he had to do was say”I was wrong I got caught up in the moment and I deeply regret my behavior” and I genuinely believe he would have gotten away with it
The reality is there’s way worse reasons for why he shouldn’t be president among them corruption and a fat ego
The kiss that transported him back to the 1950’s. Spain, seriously.
Nice shirt Zealand! PORTOOOOOOO
Great video has always. Just want to thank you for wearing the football shirt of my hometown club ❤
Spain is such a great example. They dealt pretty well with the Vini Jr situation and now this. What's next?
Every kiss begins with K. Or ends with your mother holed up in a church not eating. One of those.
Beautiful shirt! 💙🐉
It's fucking WILD that they threatened to leave UEFA if they sanction him...
This history is far from being solved...
The thing is that rubiales does not understand where the issue lies:
-He says that him and Jenny were friends from before and that he kisses his friends in moments of extreme happiness (?) and when he was hugging her he asked for permission
-The issue is: why tf would the president of the FA do that in that stage?
So what I'm hearing is the Spanish FA doesn't care about consent.
Come on guys, Consent is like tea.
Unconscious people don't want tea
This guy should be FIRED NOW!! It is a disgrace and every day is a dark day for women in Spain that this creep gets away with what he did in BROAD DAYLIGHT on live tv!!
Luis' mom announces she's going on a hunger strike.
The entire world: I missed the part where that's my problem.
Sure he isn't Jonnhy Sins?
im waiting for the future chapters on this one , but i have a feeling they will be on a telenovela Level.
On a side note Zeland makes a speech wearing a jersey from a club that as one of the creapiest president in football still alive (berlusconi is dead)
UEFA immediately refusing to suspend Spain is such a fast bluff call lol
It's mirror of Spain's political environment. If someone thinks Spain won because of them, they're wrong;. These creeps are enjoying a harvest not planted by them and are also the reason why La Liga's level has been declining.
If my understanding is correct Luis has a record of being sexist in previous roles he had before this. This story is completely shocking!!
Spain is basically SA at this point
The whole family is an embarrassment right now
OMG wearingmy club jersey and shiting on Spain for 15 minutes. I dont know if im dreaming or if Ive died and gone to heaven.
Holding myself back not to kiss the screen right now...
To be protected in that way, Rubiales FOR SURE knows some of spanish fa's dark secrets
Bet they wish the lionesses won now, what a shitshow 😂😂
id say this escalated quickly, but it was like alright skyrocketed AND THEN escalated SEVERELY 😅
