This is nice. The image of the laundry spinning around in the dryer is especially inspired. I'm sure it's utilized to even greater effect in the director's cut.
Come on, no way she was singing about him that way if they hadn't known each other biblically. Like clearly there was a specific part of him she was missing.
Overall a nice visual interpretation of Goethe's lyrics. The video emphasises the element of sexual passion in the song. This is not surprising, since Goethe in Faust is quite explicit about how Faust seduces Gretchen. But surely Mephistopheles could have made a cameo in the video...?
Thanks! It's interesting you make that suggestion about Mephistopheles - originally we had planned to include a cameo, but there was a lot of story to pack into only a few minutes and we decided in the end to concentrate on the two lovers. Unless Mephistopheles is the doctor at the end!

Beautiful, emotional and so close to Schubert´s Lied and Goethe ´s words. I love this short cut.

This is amazing! I would love to know more about this project!
I think in the play, Gretchen was not pregnant and had not had sex with Dr. Faustus yet. But maybe that is not important. I loved the video!!
Ja, stimmt, Honna-- wie Du es uns schon im heute Abends Kurs gezeigt hast!
