I'll ask here again. Why do a LOT of the battles start where the hooks are already destroyed?? Why all the jumpcuts? It's impossible to see wich is the problem in the design not knowing how they failed!! Please edit without cuts or late starts for the next videos!!
If you (like me) need an overview over all the hooks and how they've fared so far, please check here: hookcontest.s3-website.eu-central-1.amazonaws.com/ (zoom and pan for details)
@@3dprintingscience528 Thanks! I've already send them an email. If they want to they can use it freely. I plan to update the image behind the link after each new video...
Yes more spiral hooks have this... we will see.. although there is probably no real great layer adhesion it helps preventing to unwrap.. there should have been a clear gap like 0.5mm.. in the end we will know if it really mattered
Lots of hooks have gaps less than 0.5mm, not just spiral hooks. The rules were left deliberately open for a variety of designs, not necessarily practical designs. There are a couple other spiral hooks in that group so we shall see what happens.
Good job Shorkfin! I'm rooting for you

They've probably already recorded and edited every video which is kinda disappointing lol
Which round do we switch to the next hook? Thanks
I think only in the semi final and final
Most poeple are cheating they are making a closed hook with a interlocking slit and its accepted? Like what is this
It follows the rules.
5:64 this one vs 0:24 this one on the final round, its what I'm betting
I think 11:14 will do well.

Am I disappointed I lost in my first round? Yes. But come on, there's no perceivable gap in Supercell, not even on the close-up photos.

@@Johan-ul9jb yes there should definitely be a clear gap
