What a beautiful bit of kit, I am so jealous
My fathers boss was one of the Army evaluation team that tested the Land Rover. He got hold of one of the pre production ones for use on his estate/farm. I used to drive it at 14 years old.

What can I say, yes it's the most beautiful série one prototype that I have ever seen at Landelles sortout in France.

Darryn Walker The early ones were Sage Green I think
Too much endfloat on the water pump (at 4.18).
As with a lot of restored Land Rovers it might look shiny but its not mechanically 100%.
Lovely job otherwise. Good job so many are being looked after now. They'll live forever !
