Me and my family hid in the closet and the tornado went right by our house. My friend was at Bridgeland, so happy she survived. My dad was driving on Eldridge and he said he felt his car being pulled by the wind. I am SO GLAD he survived
I was on the stairs luckily my family was safe

The mayor and centerpoint’s CEO should step down as they’re obviously not doing their job. Severe weather is not anything new, and how can power tower falls over that easily, what happened to the regulators who foresee these infrastructure? Nothing has improved over the last major outage.Should be class lawsuit against the city of Houston and CenterPoint. We shouldn’t be paying taxes in this state.

This was no "misunderstanding." Scottie Scheffler intentionally drove around obvious police activity, intentionally drove onto a median, and when a cop yelled at him to stop Scottie Scheffler _intentionally_ accelerated and kept driving until he realized he was dragging a cop with him (who made a bad decision to grab & hold onto Scottie's car). The world's top golfer should pay the consequences of his intentional actions.

Actually, "full coverage" car insurance in Texas is very expensive! It's nearly as much as a car payment! A lot of people can only afford Liability insurnace. I understand why this woman wanted to try to move her vehicle and prevent damage, because it was probably a very necessary vehicle for her to move around (we don't have great public transportation here). It was very unfortunate that right at that moment the car fell down. I do agree with what you're trying to say, that no possession is more important than your safety but I get her point too. These have been some freak storms!!
