hey gunther im a dread newby and i do all of my locking all by myself i have virgin hair and my prob is everytime i use my bamboo 3 automatic locks needle its puzzleling me on why my dreads keep looking like i just did them mine are like thick as my middle finger and i dont mind doing it ,but all im trying to accomplish is for my dreads to stay tight but thick at the same time , what am i doing wrong? and my hair is the same grade as yours too. PLEASE HELP

Any tips for finding the right loctitian for straight hair dreads?

You should find someone to just section your hair how you want it and crochet it yourself. I had someone back comb and crochet mine that didn't know what they were doing with straight hair and regret not doing it myself. If you watched his how to videos on crochet method, it's as easy as he shows. It just takes the time. Trust me 10 out of 10 wish I did my own with crochet.

Amateur locticians, i got the straightest hair on the planet and i got good dreads, i do my own hair though.
