Info for you... If you want to measure a volume of any container you measure the length width and height in inches you divided by 231 that's how many cubic inches in a gallon so a 12 by 12 by 12 tank= 1728 cubic in ÷ 231=7.48 gallons
Can you connect the fresh water line directly to your rodi for freshwater top off? Here's my plan. Freshwater directly connected to RODI, bad water directly to the floor drain in my basement and I have a 125 gallon saltwater tank to pull from for water changes. Can this be done?

I should also add that my wife would be forever greatful for you helping ease my new hobby costs. Plus, I work out of town a lot and she has to manage the tank while I’m gone. So, this would make less work for her, while chasing around a 3 year old all day, she’s a trooper!!

I have this on my seahorse tank - It's been a life saver by doing lots of water changes for me and keeping the water topped off. The alarm on the ATO also helped minimize a flood due to my over achieving skimmer...

Worth mentioning that the ATO feature will pause the waterchange until it's topped up.
i barely not done any water change since macro algae reactors, as well as macro algaes in sumps been cultivating with mud/dosing elements
might have to give this a try!!!!! ill end up doing WCs every few days if thats the case !!
