Love both plates Arctic blue is subtle and love that you wiped back the shino. So effective with the pattern. Love all the ornaments Ohhh the doggie is super sweet ❤ love the Cairns mug. The inside looks like clouds. ☁️ oh wow the cosmic tea dust mug is stunning. Other than the pinholes in the stripey bowl I don’t think you need to refire. I like the outside. Great kiln unload. Purple and green, and pink and green are definately favourites! The tigers eye and power turquoise is amazing - you would never know it was power turquoise as its so irrisdescent blue and it went in waves! I dont know what made me give it a try but I’m glad i did!!!!
Wow that pistachio is a great glaze. It’s so perfect for that texture too! My last bisque kiln load I added another shelf to the very top with only one element showing and my cones didn’t even show that they had been fired!! I definitely need several showing for my top shelf. Your bowls are sooo beautiful! I love that gunmetal green!!
It took me a couple of fires to realise pistachio shino needs to be wiped back to get that great colour! Otherwise it just has brown flecks. I couldn’t believe it - someone bought it last weekend to display on their wall! I am loving the coyotes at the moment! My kiln usually runs really hot but she seems to be slowly regulating. I think having the shelf loaded helps. I know some people load with kiln props if the dont have enough to fill the shelf Thank you for watching!

I never use chun plum or smokey merlot! It used to burn out for me but the cooler kiln it working wonders! I put it on really thick! And the oatmeal and iron lustre was super thick too. Cairns mug turned out real nice! So happy the bisque fix didnt act as a wax resist. So crystals over the top work! Or follow your instructions, ha ha! I definately will next time! Doggy is sooooo cute! Almost my favourite, but i think the Cairns mug wins! Markets tomorrow! Hopefully weather holds!
